Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Supply Chain with strong expertise in oil well cementing procurement and vendor management. The role focuses on managing subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers specific to cementing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and vendor management for oil well cementing services and equipment.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and service providers to ensure business continuity and competitive advantage.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve long-term cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and value creation.
• Review, evaluate, and approve RFQs/RFPs, ensuring compliance and competitive bidding.
• Conduct cost and quality analysis to assess the suitability, effectiveness, and value of proposed services, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly procurement reports to executive management.
• Train, mentor, and supervise team members on procurement processes and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Contracts, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10–12 years of relevant technical and commercial experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong multitasking ability and flexibility to manage complex priorities.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Advanced reporting, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant computer tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under high-pressure situations, with a flexible schedule as required.
