The Morale Welfare Recreation (MWR) Community Activity Center (CAC) Cashier/Learning Resource Center (LRC) Specialist supports and provides services across various functional areas, including recreation centers, learning resource centers, community activity centers, theaters, and others. The role involves oversight, execution, labor, and monitoring when performing duties. Responsibilities include cashier functions, event setup and hosting, inventory management, customer service, retail support, library and learning resource assistance, alcohol sales, and additional duties as assigned.

Must be knowledgeable of regulations and rules regarding weekly recreational activities and tournaments, and able to promptly answer guest inquiries. The role also involves hosting special events, which includes organizing, marketing, setting up and tearing down equipment and decorations, providing audiovisual support, arranging transportation for entertainers, and supervising support staff during events.

1. Perform NAF resale cashier operations, including cashiering, funds control, and handling alcohol sales.
2. Understand regulations and rules of play for all activities and tournaments.
3. Engage actively with guests regarding programs and events.
4. Maintain facilities in a clean, sanitary, and professional manner.
5. Conduct weekly events such as bingo, poker, foosball, dominoes, karaoke, pizza night, pool, video game tournaments, etc.
6. Use food giveaways to enhance programs.
7. Handle customer inquiries, manage game check-in/out, provide movie and event information, decorate for holidays, develop tournaments, and manage customer counts and supplies.
8. Ensure supplies for complimentary items are stocked.
9. Support LRC services using government software, including inventory and administrative functions.
10. Assist in loading, unloading, and storing goods.
11. Perform other duties to support the mission.

• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• US Passport preferred.
• Meet USCENTCOM deployment policy requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.
• Obtain and maintain a Kuwait residency visa.
• Work in extreme environmental conditions.
• Endure long hours and hazardous conditions.
• Prior retail or resale experience preferred.

TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
