Main Accountabilities:-

  • Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
  • Reporting to the PMC Process Manager and works under his direction. during the EPC / FEED Engineering and Procurement phases.
  • Reports to Construction Manager and works under his direction during Construction, Precommissioning, Commissioning and Start-up phases.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC / FEED Contractor’s Loss Prevention Engineering activities.
  • Review and approve EPC / FEED Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices.
  • Provide PMC Process Safety and Loss Prevention performance data and reports to PMC Management and the Owner.
  • Provide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
  • Perform calculations for design validation and optimization.
  • Review technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis.
  • Participate in Layout, P&lDs, PHASER, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Layout Safety Reviews, PSSR, constructability reviews, 3D Model reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc.
  • Provide Loss Prevention Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
  • Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
  • Participate in analysis during EPC / FEED Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC / FEED Contractor’s Process Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering activities and review deliverables including philosophies, data sheets, specifications, layouts, close out reports, detailed drawings, etc. pertaining to risk studies, loss prevention systems, firefighting equipment, muster station, TGR’s, TSRs, Safety Signage, hazardous areas classifications, etc.
  • Review any Project specific Risk Management Systems and criteria pertaining to Process Safety and Loss Prevention.
  • Review of HSEIAs for Process Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering inputs, including reviewing hazards and effects registers, bow tie diagrams, HSECES register, HSCES performance standards and procedures, etc.
  • Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.
  • Provide assistance and support to Construction, Pre- commissioning and Commissioning phases of the works.
  • Review Action Tracking Registers and ensure close out of all Loss Prevention actions arising out of key reviews, workshops, Process Safety and Loss Prevention related studies, safety related concerns, etc.
  • Review technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis for Loss Prevention discipline.
  • Provide Process Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
  • Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
  • Participate in analysis during EPC / FEED Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation and performance evaluation.
  • Assist in the handling of correspondence related to Process Safety and Loss Prevention.
  • At least a BSc/BEng in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Relevant experience is must within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Prior exposure within Refinery and/or Petrochemical project environments.
  • Extensive familiarity with FEED and EPC phases of major Engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of Fire & Safety codes and standards such as Egyptian legal requirement& International Standards/Codes of Practices &NFPA standards and API, etc.)

As a Senior+ Engineer you'll drive the architecture, design and evolution of high-impact open source software. Our teams work at every level of the stack. From the kernel and system software at the core of Ubuntu through to major language runtimes and the bleeding-edge of cloud automation and distributed systems, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex but highly rewarding projects. Our teams also build the services which deliver Ubuntu to the world, on cloud, devices, servers and PCs.

Additionally, this role will give you the opportunity to engage with the broader open-source community. We're looking for individuals who can help build a thriving community, contribute to a broad range of technologies, and ensure seamless software operations at scale.

Location: we have remote opportunities for Senior Engineers in every time zone.

The role entails

  • Leading design and architecture of an impactful open source project
  • Coding in Golang, Rust, Python, C/C++ or Typescript / React

The role

Our Workplace Engineering team are a highly performant group which specialises in web architecture and analytics specialists. Building new tools, dashboards and analytics that empower colleagues, managers and executives to make better decisions and deliver better work.

What you will do:

  • Design and deliver web-based systems and SAAS
  • Provide new insights into the Canonical workplace experience
  • Enable new processes and improve existing workflows
  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team
  • Write high-quality code to create new features
  • Debug issues and produce high-quality code to fix them
  • Consistently provide high-quality code reviews to other engineers

Who you are

To be successful in this team you must be an expert in two or more of the following:

  • Backend web service programming in Python and Node.JS
  • Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Data analytics and statistical analysis
  • Natural language processing, sentiment analysis, machine learning
  • Data visualisation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Petroleum Engineer for a full-time position in Al-Kuwait. Our ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to ensure the successful management of oil and gas extraction projects. About the role

We are seeking an experienced sales engineering professional who provides technical advice to customers and helps to develop proposals based on customer requirements. You will be responsible for engaging with local customers while maintaining updated documents and processes to enhance the performance of sales engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for chillers, air handling units (AHUs), and other HVAC products.
  • Engage with consultants, contractors, and end-users to promote our product offerings.

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the HVAC industry.
  • Develop strategies to improve sales performance, market share, and brand positioning in the HVAC sector.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and presentations.

Reporting & Documentation:

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • 5-7 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, specifically with chillers and air handling units.
  • Proven experience in developing and closing large-scale HVAC projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, particularly chillers, AHUs, and related equipment.

Although not necessary, it would be advantageous if you have:
