- Responsible for providing leadership and direction to position the company as a leading provider of medical insurance line of business within the marketplace. This individual functions as a Senior Level Executive charged with guiding the development and execution of strategic underwriting directives to contribute to continued retention and profitable growth of total written premium in the medical business.
- Will be actively involved in retail and corporate initiatives in the development of existing and new lines of business, including articulating and building strategy to develop the company in Kuwait as a key provider of medical insurance business.
- Strong distributor relationships and able to build a team of market-facing underwriters.

The Successful Applicant
- 10 years plus insurance experience in underwriting and claims management of medical insurance products in a leading insurance company.
- Exceptionally strong senior level management and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with managing health data analytics and setting the agenda for actuarial reviews.
- Insurance certification: ACII / equivalent or higher.
- A demonstrated and proven track record in leading and developing business and business relationships at a national corporate level.
- Strong flexibility to travel as required to meet retail and corporate mandates.
- Local / GCC experience a big plus.
- Bachelor's/ Master's Degree or equivalent in any discipline with Science/ Medical/ Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Job Responsibilities:
- Arranging MOH registration application licenses for all clinical and technical staff and reviews all applied documents with the team to verify compliance with the required qualifications.
- Contacts the selected physician after obtaining approval on their applications to complete the process.
- Drafts the required correspondence to request personal interview appointment for the clinical and technical staff; and revise it with the supervisor.
- Work on completion of the personal file for the mentioned staff in relation to preparation of appointment decisions, follows up on signing the employment contracts, data entry of all their personal information into the current software system.
- Follows up with representatives on the procedures in the Health Licensure department in the Ministry of Health in Kuwait and the work process and reports it to the supervisor.
- Maintains an updated database of the work process; checks licenses in relation to issuance, renewal, and termination; coordinates with the supervisor and follows up with representatives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and the Department Policy and Guidelines.
- Performs professional duties as a Radiologist or directs the performance of all functions of diagnostic imaging in regard to film interpretation and procedures.
- Determines which radiological (imaging) and related service procedures are appropriate to undertake and when new techniques will be utilized. Coordinates with the Chief Technologist the requirements and actions necessary to assure availability of special equipment and supplies.
- Participates in group conferences with other physicians for the purposes of case study from a group standpoint and offers opinions from the imaging standpoint.
- Assures adherence to proper safety precautions, infection control, and radiation precautions for the protection of unit/division personnel and patients.
- Participates in continuing education meetings for diagnostic Imaging Unit Services personnel.
- Provides interpretations of all tests performed by the Radiology Unit within a time frame established within the department per Medical Administration.
- Participates in and helps establish the educational programs conducted by medical administration and provides instructions as required to the various departments in the form of a continuing education program.
- May work under the supervision of Consultants and Specialists working in the Radiology Unit.
- Ensures their presence in the hospital while called for on-call duties.
- Follows established policies and procedures.
- Attends regularly scheduled meetings for the improvement of patient care services and delivery.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality.
- Accepts all other additional assignments found necessary by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements:
- MBBH and Masters in Radiology.
