Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory tests on materials such as soil, concrete, steel, and water to evaluate their properties and performance. Prepare and handle samples for testing, ensuring proper protocols are followed. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing results. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with testing equipment promptly. Analyze test data and compile detailed reports, summarizing findings. Encode and document test results accurately in databases and reporting systems. Archive reports and other documentation systematically to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to provide insights regarding material quality and suitability. Field testing, collecting samples, and conducting on-site assessments. Develop and implement quality control procedures for material testing and documentation. Qualifications
Proven experience in material laboratory and site testing, along with knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO). Strong skills in data encoding and documentation, with proficiency in using database and reporting software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in archiving and record-keeping. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Working Conditions
The position involves working in both laboratory and outdoor environments. Compliance with safety regulations and protocols is essential. The basic salary is 300 KD. Transportation is provided. Annual flight ticket. Medical insurance. Accommodation provided for 2 weeks only after arriving in Kuwait.
