Join to apply for the Senior Java Developer, Trilogy (Remote) - 60,000/year USD role at Trilogy

This range is provided by Trilogy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$3 .00/hr - 30.00/hr

Are you an engineer who cringes at the thought of messy code, sluggish deployments, and outdated development methods? Do you strive to create AI-powered systems that leave conventional engineering approaches in the dust? If so, you’ve found your next challenge.

While many software teams are stuck in the past, relying on manual debugging and limited AI integration, Trilogy stands out. Our process fully embraces AI at every stage—from feature brainstorming to bug resolution and performance tuning. This is not about dabbling with AI; it’s about deeply embedding it into the fabric of software development to eliminate inefficiencies, accelerate delivery, and achieve precision.

As a Senior Java Developer, you'll transform existing B2B products into cloud-native applications, enhancing them with AI at every turn. You'll craft AI-powered features, utilize the latest in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for automated bug detection, and ensure seamless releases with zero outages or disruptions. This role is not for those who prefer endless debates over architecture instead of delivering results.

Ready to advance your career with AI-driven software engineering and embrace high-scale cloud-native development? Apply today. But if you’d rather stick to traditional methods, manually write test cases, or avoid automation, this role might not be for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Utilizing advanced analysis tools and RAG vector stores to pinpoint, diagnose, and resolve product defects and bugs.
  • Harnessing AI development agents to conceive, create, and deploy cutting-edge features for cloud-native applications.
  • Collaborating with an international team to deliver top-tier, enterprise-grade solutions.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Repetitive Infrastructure Tasks: We minimize tedious infrastructure work so you can concentrate on innovation.
  • Excessive Meetings: We prioritize your development skills over meeting time. Expect more coding and less talking.

Senior Java Developer Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI-powered features to enhance workflows and equip service providers with innovative tools.

Basic Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in commercial software development, particularly in production code for server-side web applications.
  • Proficiency with GenAI code assistants (such as Github Copilot, Cursor, v0.dev); candidates must have experience with LLMs rather than traditional ML engineering.
  • A commitment to incorporating GenAI into your daily development tasks.

About Trilogy

Hundreds of software businesses run on the Trilogy Business Platform. For three decades, Trilogy has been known for 3 things: Relentlessly seeking top talent, Innovating new technology, and incubating new businesses. Our technological innovation is spearheaded by a passion for simple customer-facing designs.
