What You'll Do

• Management, control, coordination and supervision services as well as assistance for the assigned project inclusive of budget formulation, cost control and quality assurance.
• Management of support services for supervising and directing engineering, procurement and management of construction contractors appointed by the Client.
• Management of services for Oil & Gas production activities including start-up and initial operations assistance as well as operational personnel and systems as required by the Client.
• Reports to the Line Manager and is authorized to deputize for him during his absence with a proven track record of managing multi-projects in general and Design & Engineering and Construction function in particular, in the oil and gas industry
• Is responsible for developing the overall strategy for soil remediation in the assigned areas, it includes contracting strategies and management of contractors.
• Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects such as FEED (front end engineering design) studies and preparation, ITB (invitation to bid) check estimate preparation, LSTK (lump sum turnkey) tender package preparation are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
• Act as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the client’s expectations are satisfied.
• Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.

Job Purpose:

The Risk & Project Management Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting Taiba Hospital’s risk management efforts. This includes proactively identifying, analyzing, investigating, and mitigating clinical and operational risks to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees. The role also supports data-driven quality improvement and safety initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders, with a focus on regulatory readiness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee incident reporting processes, conduct risk assessments, and ensure timely follow-up and analysis.
• Investigate safety events, patient complaints, and near misses; support Root Cause Analysis and mortality reviews.
• Identify trends in incidents and risks; escalate and recommend preventive actions to leadership.
• Support the integration of automated tools to improve data collection, accuracy, and reporting.
• Collaborate with department heads, clinicians, and the Patient Experience team to resolve risk-related concerns.
• Facilitate risk-related education and training to promote staff awareness and safety culture.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness through proper documentation and risk governance.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Nursing or another healthcare-related field.
• Formal training or certification in Risk Management is preferred.

Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of patient safety principles, risk management frameworks, and performance improvement tools.
• Familiarity with hospital operations, routines, and healthcare regulations, particularly Joint Commission (JCI) standards.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Experience:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare risk management or quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Able to handle sensitive discussions with professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy.

About the Role

* To perform various project management and administrative functions related to the International Projects Department, such as follow-up and overall coordination involving ongoing and upcomingopportunities. The International Projects Coordinator is also responsible for preparing proposals, planning, coordinating, and handling issues regarding international projects and further ensuring thatoverall work is performed efficiently and effectively on a daily basis.


What you will be doing

* Identify potential opportunities for international projects by conducting research on funding agencies through their websites and other sources.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate on projects (i.e.ongoing and upcoming) outside of Kuwait.
* Provide assistance on matters deemed necessary by the Department Head in order to ensure successful completion of work and in meeting deadlines.
* Provide effective support to the company’s international branch and project offices as and when required.
* Review request for proposals (RFP) issued to Pace and coordinate on proposal submission.
* Track and report status of all proposal elements to the Department Head.
* Provide support in proposal preparation and ensure that it is submitted on time, meeting the requirements of client.
* Submit detailed report of project activities involving status and progress to management at regular intervals.
* Prepare and ensure timely submission of invoice to client / lead firm and follow-up on payments.
* Monitor progress of projects and potential opportunities effectively.
* Coordinate with consultants, Resident Engineers, and branch / project offices on a day-to-day basis.
* Foster and develop effective working relationships with sub-consultants and international consultants / contacts.
* Coordinate in preparation of budget / forecast of expected business.
* Compile and submit required documents to ensure Client invitation to submit proposal.

Required Experience

* Minimum of 5 years experience in similar type of industry, work or role.
* Preferably worked in the consultancy or contracting industry.
* Experience and knowledge of international funding agencies’ activities and procedures.


Education

* Bachelors in Civil Engineering or International Development Degree or similar.


Certifications & Memberships

* Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) Membership or Any local Engineer's society membership (for hiring outside Kuwait).

Essential Skills

* Excellent English in reading, writing, speaking is essential.
* Arabic, French or another language is an advantage.
* Advanced MS Office skills
* Excellent at preparing reports and updates.
* Project management ability to coordinate work tasks to meet deadlines.
