Major Job Activities:
+ Conduct or participate in meetings and seminars as directed by the customer.
+ Maintain all integration notes, project documentation, and after-action reports as requested by the customer.

The role is responsible to lead Project Management Team (PMT) to support the client to manage the awarded EPC contract for the upgrade of the power station.

The main scope includes upgrade of the power station which is located within drivable distance of Kuwait City. At present this station has facilities for power generation and water production. The scope also includes a provision of the future line to another neighboring power station.

The position together with the Project Management team is based in Kuwait.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage EPC Contractor ensuring that the project is delivered within time, budget, and QHSE requirements.
  • Ensuring the correct application by EPC Contractor of design criteria, drawings, standards and conventions, and design guidelines for the projects.
  • Coordination of the reporting of progress, performance, and resource allocation by the EPC Contractor
  • Coordination of pre-construction conferences, briefings, and presentations
  • Active oversight and management of the construction and commissioning activities
  • Verification of the EPC Contractors monthly invoices
  • Ensures timely internal and external reporting.
  • Ensures client satisfaction through successful project delivery, thereby paving the way for long-term client relationships and opportunities for repeat business.

Internal Interface

  • PMS Project Manager will report to the MEA PMC/PMS SL Director and will have regular interaction with the company's project internal support team.

Client Interface

  • PMS Project Manager will interact with the Clients Project Director and the relevant personnel based in the power station.
  • High level leadership skills with the ability to lead effectively, and to motivate and influence others to adopt company, client, and project objectives.
  • High level creative, conceptual, and inductive reasoning abilities for effective problem solving.
