Job description:

To establish the strategy and direct staff to achieve operational and profit objectives in the market. Direct the resources to maximize operational efficiency.

1. Manage the business planning process, including the development and implementation of the operating strategy to ensure sales growth and unit development targets are achieved.
2. Achieve profit objectives by leading/directing subordinates to attain targets in their assigned areas. Provide input on annual capital expense planning and execute accordingly.
3. Achieve sales objectives by leading/directing teams to attain targets in their areas. Implement area marketing plans and monitor market conditions to maximize sales and profits while minimizing competitor intrusion.
4. Drive profitability by focusing on top-line sales and other P&L items such as food cost, labor cost, utility cost, etc.
5. Ensure total customer satisfaction by adhering to all Wendy’s Company operating standards, procedures, and systems.
6. Ensure all food safety procedures are executed according to company policies and local health/sanitation regulations; take corrective actions as needed. Safeguard cash and physical assets.
7. Manage customer complaints/feedback in coordination with the person-in-charge regarding the nature of the complaints/feedback.
8. Manage the effective development and utilization of the operations team to maximize their contribution and future career growth. Achieve manpower and turnover goals. Coordinate with HR for team development through effective training and performance management systems.
9. Responsible for driving succession planning in coordination with HR & Training.
10. Coach and mentor restaurant management teams to focus on delivering desired results.

• 10+ years of experience in restaurant management, including overseeing multi-location operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations, local market business practices, laws and regulations, marketing, training, and human resources within the franchise organization.

Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant Management.

Customer Experience Optimization

• Ensure a positive end-to-end takeaway experience by validating new product functions, features, and strategies through MVP testing and real-world application.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with product, R&D, and operations teams to develop and enhance front-end tools, configuration systems, and notification functionalities that support operational excellence.

Operational Strategy Development

• Translate demand-supply forecasting insights into standard operating procedures (SOPs) for daily business operations. Continuously review, test, and improve SOPs to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Long-Term Strategic Initiatives

• Rider recruitment and onboarding
• Rider scheduling and workforce planning
• Job freezing policies
• Rider benefits and incentive programs
• Enhancing rider work experience

Short-Term Tactical Strategies

• Managing rider subsidies
• Adjusting delivery fees dynamically
• Optimizing store exposure ranges
• Fine-tuning order ETA estimations

• Regularly analyze operational outcomes, identify gaps in current strategies, and implement improvements that enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
