Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead and oversee all quality-related activities in our ready mix concrete operations. The QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete produced meets industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements through effective quality assurance processes, laboratory testing, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials, production, and delivery of ready mix concrete.
- Supervise quality control staff and laboratory technicians to ensure accurate and timely testing.
- Monitor raw material quality (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) and validate supplier quality reports.
- Conduct regular testing of concrete samples (slump, strength, temperature, etc.) and maintain detailed records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS, and local Kuwaiti regulations.
- Review and approve concrete mix designs and suggest modifications as per project requirements.
- Liaise with project engineers, consultants, and clients to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Provide training to plant and site staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Manage calibration and maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment.
- Prepare and submit quality reports and audit documentation to management and external bodies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the ready mix concrete or construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge of concrete technology, materials testing, and mix design principles.
- Familiarity with quality standards and test methods (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in lab equipment and software tools used for concrete testing and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

- Conducts surveillances and performs other administrative duties as required within the Quality Control Office.
- Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
- Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the Amentum Quality Management System.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in generator equipment.
- A minimum of 2 years quality control/ inspection experience required.
- Must have knowledge of diagnostic tools and forms used at the unit and DS/GS level.
- Must be able to read and understand communications and electronic equipment schematics.
- Must have thorough knowledge of military technical publications.
- Must have a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- The ability to talk to people from all walks of life.
- Must be customer service focused.
- T1 NACI required for U.S. Citizens
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.

This position performs all aspects of quality control/ inspections related to technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage and shipping management and receipt process). - Excellent communication skills along with professional demeanor along with strong interpersonal skills.

Purpose: Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections of various vehicle maintenance and equipment repairs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections on different classifications of wheeled vehicles/equipment at the unit and DS/GS levels.
- Conducts initial inspections upon delivery of equipment and records data information for the processing of maintenance work orders; troubleshoots identified faults and in-process inspections as required during their pair phase.
- Conducts a final inspection upon completion of maintenance repairs to ensure quality product outputs are met.
- Prepares records of inspection/tests and make them available to the QA/QC Department.
- Verifies procedures being used are adequate for the effective control of quality, rejects defective workmanship and materials, verifies and certifies the test results on supporting documents.
- Provides guidance and technical assistance to shop maintenance personnel on inspection principles of workmanship, procedures to be employed, and quality of work expected.
- Ensures compliance with government and corporate regulations, company SOPs, directives, and technical manuals to establish and maintain a quality management program.
- Maintains crosstalk with QA and LAR representatives.
- Coordinates with Shop Supervisor when technical problems arise, and in-depth mechanical knowledge is required.
- Cross trains when required to ensure maximum flexibility and possession of technical skills in the development and maintenance of quality programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of wheeled vehicle maintenance experience required.
- 2 or more years of quality control/inspection experience required.
