What is expected from you? As an Audit Associate, you will be reporting to Seniors and above, working as part of a team that helps the clients building trust and solving complex challenges. Your job duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Executing External Audits and statutory reporting for different types of clients
- Taking accountability for researching and understanding key facts on the client’s industry information before the engagement begins
- Analysing engagement economics of self and field staff and explaining variances from the budgets
- Working with teams to collaborate and execute the Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for our clients (Analysing the client’s environment, assessing the risks and the internal control framework, auditing the financial statements, drafting recommendations and specific reports)
- Analysing and documenting internal controls and control environment
- Working closely with the Senior Associates and above on the engagement identifying potential risk areas
- Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Ensuring you are adhering to compliance with the risk, quality and independence matters
- Working on developing internal and external relationships and ensuring reflecting PwC values on your day to day work when working in diverse teams
- Contributing to the development of your own technical and global acumen
- Taking part in the digital initiatives and upskilling areas which aligns most with your team’s business needs

- Completed or pursuing a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA (preferably)
- Professional experience of at least 1-3 years in external financial audit preferably in one of the big4 professional services firm
- Experience working with big 4 industries/clients is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus
- Business development and client relationship building skills
- Willingness to challenge the ‘norms’ and to create a cohesive and effective working team
- Excellent project management skills
- Knowledge in any Audit technologies, and experience using Data Analytics tools is a plus

What is expected from you? As an Audit Associate, you will be reporting to Seniors and above, working as part of a team that helps the clients building trust and solving complex challenges. Your job duties will include but will not be limited to: Executing External Audits and statutory reporting for different types of clients
Taking accountability for researching and understanding key facts on the client’s industry information before the engagement begins
Analysing engagement economics of self and field staff and explaining variances from the budgets
Working with teams to collaborate and execute the Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for our clients (Analysing the client’s environment, assessing the risks and the internal control framework, auditing the financial statements, drafting recommendations and specific reports)
Analysing and documenting internal controls and control environment
Working closely with the Senior Associates and above on the engagement identifying potential risk areas
Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Ensuring you are adhering to compliance with the risk, quality and independence matters
Working on developing internal and external relationships and ensuring reflecting PwC values on your day to day work when working in diverse teams
Contributing to the development of your own technical and global acumen
Taking part in the digital initiatives and upskilling areas which aligns most with your team’s business needs
What will you bring? You are ambitious and you utilise opportunities to grow and develop. In addition, you recognise yourself in the following characteristics: A degree in accounting, finance or any other related academic major
C ompleted or pursuing a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA (preferably)
Professional experience of at least 1-3 years in external financial audit preferably in one of the big4 professional services firm
Experience working with big 4 industries/clients is considered an asset
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus
Business development and client relationship building skills
Willingness to challenge the ‘norms’ and to create a cohesive and effective working team
Excellent project management skills

- Plans, develops, supervises and performs information systems (IS) audits of the Bank and assists in providing standards and a quality control function over IS auditing.
- Assists in developing an IS audit strategy and an annual IS audit plan, prioritizing work to be performed based upon a risk assessment, to ensure an adequate system of control exists in all automated systems and that all data is secure and computer facilities are safeguarded.
**Operational Duties**:
- Evaluates the design of computer systems in development to make sure that they will function effectively; are developed according to established procedures, guidelines, and methods; have adequate controls to detect problems; are properly documented in the system, programs, and user areas; and have backup before the system becomes operational. Reviews preliminary studies, system specifications, and user acceptance testing procedures and conducts discussions with users.
- Evaluates the safety and the security of data centers and related areas to determine if assets, data and persons are adequately secure and safeguarded. Reviews procedures and controls for processing and handling data and evaluates the adequacy of contingency plans
- Ensures that system software and utilities are properly justified, selected, utilized and controlled.
- Whether auditing directly or supervising an audit team, prepares audit programs, conducts audits, audit reports, discusses findings with the audited department management, coordinates, and incorporates management responses into the draft report.
- Prepares follow-up reports and reviews the results of audits. Follows-up with concerned departments / organizations to ensure approved recommendations have been implemented and corrective action has been taken. Reports any delays in follow-up action
- Establishes, develops and performs a comprehensive ongoing quality assurance program over all IS audit activities at the Bank.
- Develops and maintains IS audit manual to ensure effective use of internal audit resources consistent with objectives laid down by Internal Audit management. This includes the development and updating of IS audit policies and procedures, recommending changes to Internal Audit management and managing the implementation of such changes.
- Utilizes the computer as a tool by selecting and operating computer audit software packages to improve the scope and the efficiency of IS audits.
- Supports financial auditors by assisting them with automated systems including using Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) in accomplishing their objectives while conducting non-IS audits.
- Maintains an up-to-date awareness, proficiency and knowledge of the IS auditing profession, including IS hardware; software; technology trends; accounting standards and applicable laws.

- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a degree related to computer or systems field.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 10 years in IS auditing as well as internal audit and management. Solid knowledge of technical computer concepts related to hardware architecture, database, software and security, as well as a solid understanding of banking and financial services.
