**Basic Function and Scope**:
Plans, develops and maintains the air safety occurrence data bank as required to meet the mandatory occurrence reporting scheme of the Government regulatory bodies. Keeps abreast of regulatory requirements of Kuwait DGCA, ICAO, JAA, FAA and safety organizations as EASA, NTSB, IATA, FSF, etc. Involving and implementing Accident Prevention and Flight Safety program and Safety Management System in Operations Department. Implementing and monitoring Flight Safety & Quality Assurance by flight data analysis and keeping abreast of safety trend in the industry and research to promote safety and prevent accidents. Liaises with safety groups in other departments and arranging safety seminars and safety awareness programs for other Departments. Involves, analyzing flight safety trends ensuring that corrective actions are taken, as directed. Involves in conducting occurrence prevention studies and assist in producing Safety Publications. Develops the Safety improvement Plan, and assisting in Auditing, Inspection and Investigation process (on going basis), preparing and controlling Flight Safety/Quality Manual on a Corporate or safety requirements ensuring DGCA approval.
- **Tasks and Duties**:
a. Keeps abreast of regulatory requirements, in particular regulations of Kuwait DGCA, ICAO, JAA, FAA and safety organizations as EASA, NTSB, IATA, FSF, etc.
- b. Analyses Flight Safety trends and corrective actions as required to support the studies of Flight Safety and Quality Assurance.
- c. Prepares and controls Flight Safety/Quality Assurance manual on a corporate basis.
- d. Involves and implements Accident Prevention and Flight Safety program and Safety Management System in Operations Department.
- e. Implements and monitors Flight Operations Quality Assurance by flight data analysis in liaison with Fleet Managers and Engineering Department.
- **Requirement:
- Applicant shall hold/held an ATPL Or an accredited Engineering degree/license with a good aviation Operational/Engineering experience.
- 12 years aviation experience in an Operational Department.

**Skills:
- Excellent command of the English language ( written and spoken) and must have good writing skills.

**Basic Function and Scope**:

- Inputs a variety of information related to aircraft flight operations. Obtains printouts and cross checks data, advising the Supervisor of its correct completion. refers any problems or inconsistency, to the Supervisor, as required.

**2. Tasks and Duties**:

- Inputs various flight operational data for each sector of a KAC flight into the Local Area Network (LAN) DATA Base Systems.
- Receives voyage reports from the captain and inputs data such as aircraft registration, names of deck crew, and supernumerary deck crew, holders, uplifted fuel and fuel burn off, and specific timing such as arrival and departure times and chock off and check on times.
- Inputs data from load and trim sheets submitted by the returning Captain, includes details on baggage weight, cargo, mail, numbers of passengers traveling first or economy class and free passengers, and actual take off weight.
- Oversees the checking of the daily operations reports by receiving the previous day’s information input, and cross-checks error warnings with voyage reports received. identifies missing voyage reports and advises Supervisor accordingly.
- Receives fuel receipts from the Captain, checks against voyage reports and inputs to the computer after confirming with navigation that fuel used is within the approximation of the requirements for that sector for the flight. refers any inconsistency to the Supervisor.
- Obtains monthly printouts of data such as departure and arrivals, chock off and on, and fuel uplift reports. Checks all data for accuracy, referring any problems to the supervisor and amending any information as required.
- Maintains records of overtime hours worked by ground operations personnel from flying hours input on a daily basis and advises Supervisor accordingly.

**Requirement:
- Completion of Secondary (12 years) education plus diploma in Computer Science from an accredited institution (2 years full time).
- 2 years’ experience in operating electronic data equipment (EDP).
