- Inputs a variety of information related to aircraft flight operations. Obtains printouts and cross checks data, advising the Supervisor of its correct completion. refers any problems or inconsistency, to the Supervisor, as required.
**2. Tasks and Duties**:
- Inputs various flight operational data for each sector of a KAC flight into the Local Area Network (LAN) DATA Base Systems.
- Receives voyage reports from the captain and inputs data such as aircraft registration, names of deck crew, and supernumerary deck crew, holders, uplifted fuel and fuel burn off, and specific timing such as arrival and departure times and chock off and check on times.
- Inputs data from load and trim sheets submitted by the returning Captain, includes details on baggage weight, cargo, mail, numbers of passengers traveling first or economy class and free passengers, and actual take off weight.
- Oversees the checking of the daily operations reports by receiving the previous day’s information input, and cross-checks error warnings with voyage reports received. identifies missing voyage reports and advises Supervisor accordingly.
- Receives fuel receipts from the Captain, checks against voyage reports and inputs to the computer after confirming with navigation that fuel used is within the approximation of the requirements for that sector for the flight. refers any inconsistency to the Supervisor.
- Obtains monthly printouts of data such as departure and arrivals, chock off and on, and fuel uplift reports. Checks all data for accuracy, referring any problems to the supervisor and amending any information as required.
- Maintains records of overtime hours worked by ground operations personnel from flying hours input on a daily basis and advises Supervisor accordingly.
**Requirement:
- Completion of Secondary (12 years) education plus diploma in Computer Science from an accredited institution (2 years full time).
- 2 years’ experience in operating electronic data equipment (EDP).
