Position Overview
Amanah Teknologia is seeking a results-driven Technical and Delivery Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise software solutions across mission-critical domains such as IOT, Big Data, Ai driven solutions, process automation leading multiple development teams working in various verticals such as delivery& logistics, facility Management, and Asset & fleet management. This role requires a dynamic leader who can bridge technical depth with project leadership, ensuring both product excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Oversight
- Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle across multiple software products—from scope definition to release ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious execution.
- Implement and continuously refine Agile practices (e.g., sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives) to drive velocity and predictability.
- Define and track delivery KPIs such as sprint burndown, team velocity, and milestone completion.
- Build and maintain robust operational continuity plans for delivery, support, and technical onboarding.
- Ensure critical systems, processes, and tribal knowledge are well-documented and periodically reviewed.
- Define and manage a capacity planning process to forecast and allocate technical resources based on product and client demands.
Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including team leaders, engineers, testers, and delivery leads.
- Maintain a skills inventory and succession plan to proactively address future gaps in capabilities or availability.
- Establish and uphold development standards and best practices across teams.
- Support the professional growth of technical staff through performance management and career development planning.
- Ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
- Develop and implement a resource redundancy strategy to ensure continuity of delivery in case of team turnover or scaling needs.
- Establish mentorship and knowledge transfer frameworks to mitigate knowledge silos and improve team resilience.
- Build structured onboarding programs and maintain thorough internal documentation to enable rapid ramp-up of new team members with minimal disruption.
- Promote a growth mindset culture through regular learning opportunities, feedback sessions, and career progression planning.
Technical Governance and Engineering Process Excellence
- Guide architectural decisions, system design, and integration strategies in collaboration with technical architects, leads and product owners.
- Conduct regular code and design quality reviews to ensure software maintainability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
- Coordinate efforts between engineering, DevOps, QA, and security to maintain continuous and reliable delivery pipelines.
- Ensure that best practices are applied across all stages of the software development lifecycle, covering architecture, design, coding standards, testing, deployment, performance optimization, security hardening, and all quality-related attributes, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Standardize engineering processes and workflows to ensure consistency across product development, maintenance, and support.
- Define and enforce documentation standards at system, module, and operational levels to ensure traceability, maintainability, and easy knowledge handover.
- Implement continuous improvement practices through retrospectives, process reviews, and performance feedback loops.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as the primary interface for internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Translate strategic business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Manage expectations and ensure transparency through consistent reporting and progress updates.
- Actively ensure client satisfaction by delivering value-driven solutions, maintaining transparent communication, and addressing client feedback promptly and professionally throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Design and implement client support processes to ensure timely resolution of production issues and operational continuity.
- Oversee client support operations and coordinate cross-functional response teams for high-priority incidents or escalations.
- Ensure proper documentation, FAQs, and knowledge bases are available to support client-facing operations.
- Define service-level expectations, incident management workflows, and escalation paths aligned with ITIL/ITSM practices.
- Track support metrics and client feedback to identify trends and drive service improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably possess Minimum of 10 years in software engineering or technical project management, with 5+ years in a leadership or delivery management capacity.
- Proven success in delivering complex, high-impact systems in sectors such as logistics, operations, or asset management.
- Strong background in SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, modern delivery practices, and DevOps.
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed, cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud services (Azure or AWS), CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Competencies
- Industry certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification is a plus.
- Experience with mobile applications, location-based systems (GPS), or IoT integration is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience managing offshore or geographically distributed development teams.
Technical Environment
Our technology stack includes—but is not limited to—modern frameworks and tools such as:
- Backend development in modern object-oriented frameworks (.NET Core .etc)
- Frontend applications built using reactive UI frameworks (Angular .etc)
- Cloud-hosted infrastructure (Azure / AWS) with CI/CD pipelines
- RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments
Note: Specific hands-on experience in these environments is highly desirable.
