Amentum is seeking linguists with excellent English skills to grow our talented and diverse team globally towards our mission's success. We are looking for dedicated linguist professionals in a variety of languages/dialects to support our intelligence community customer OCONUS. Linguists will support U.S. military operations in Kuwait as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in an assigned area of responsibility. Linguists will contribute an assortment of language services and will be responsible for providing cultural perspective and understanding of the region's historical, political, sociological, and economic trends to select members of the senior leadership staff.
**Principal Responsibilities:**
+ Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meeting, and conferences
+ Transcribe and analyze verbal communications
+ Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information
+ Supply a variety of translation and interpretation services for Malayalam
Job Requirements:
+ Must be a U.S. citizen.
+ Must possess excellent command of Malayalam & English verbal skills; Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency level 3 in target language and proficiency level 2+ in English based on oral and written language skills examination
+ Must hold a current U.S. passport. (Or apply as soon as accepted into the program).
+ Must be willing to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance for access to classified information.
+ Must be willing to work in Kuwait
+ Must be willing to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24 x 7 operations.
+ Must have familiarity with and ability to conduct oneself in accordance with the local culture and customs.
+ Must undergo medical examination

**Job Overview:**
The Internal Translator is responsible for linguistically and culturally interpreting written material in a way that maintains or duplicates the structure and style of the original text, while keeping the ideas and facts of the original material accurate.
You will be fluent in two or more languages and skills that allows you to research industry-specific terminology, whilst possessing a strong commitment to quality and accuracy and show outstanding problem-solving skills when faced with difficult content and instruction.
You will also build strong relationships with the IQVIA Translations Services team and will play a key role in the effectiveness and success of IQVIA Translations Services operations, by working with them to update or improve glossaries, Translation Memories, Style Guides, and any other internal asset, and identify gaps in instructions or any external issue that may affect the commitment to the client.
Coupled with being a strategic partner in delivering translations on time and adhering to our quality commitments to clients, you will also proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
**Requirements:**
+ Native speaker in advertised targeted language (Hebrew or English)
+ Fluency in source language (Hebrew or English)
+ At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
+ A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
+ Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools (preferably MemoQ)

Job Description
ATLAS is seeking an experienced and operationally agile Project Manager to lead the execution of Translation and Linguistic Services (TLS) in support of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) deployed to the Middle East. Based primarily in Kuwait with oversight of linguist teams in Jordan, the PM will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of contract implementation meet or exceed mission and performance standards.

This role serves as the central point of contact between the Contractor, NATO's support agency (NSPA), and the CAF. It requires a decisive, organized, and mission-aligned leader capable of driving high-performance operations in multilingual, multi-location environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Contractor's Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all locations and operational matters.
• Represent the Contractor in all day-to-day activities, including meetings, reporting, and audits.
• Ensure the delivery of all contract services per the Statement of Work.
• Maintain 24/7 availability for coordination and operational oversight.
• Lead and supervise linguist teams across Kuwait and Jordan.
• Support operational tasking, deployment planning, and surge requirements.
• Coordinate with NSPA and CAF to resolve any service delivery issues.
• Ensure timely submission of all reports and deliverables, including KPIs.
• Uphold contract compliance with safety, quality, security, and personnel standards.

Qualifications

Required

• U.S. or Canadian citizenship.
• Hold at a minimum, an active Secret Security Clearance.
• Proven experience in the management of similar projects.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English at a TOEIC level between 785-940 or equivalent (ILR 3+).
• Willing to deploy to Kuwait and/or Jordan.

• Ability to speak Arabic (Standard or Golf dialect).
• Experience managing linguist or translation service programs.
• Familiarity with NATO, NSPA, or Canadian Armed Forces operational environments.
