We are seeking an experiencedDemand Planning Officer to take full ownership of our procurement and inventory planning process. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, optimizing stock levels, placing purchase orders with both our international and local suppliers, and ensuring our inventory is always available without overstocking or stockouts.

This role requires strong analytical skills and forecasting techniques, strategic thinking, and clear communication to maintain a healthy supply chain that aligns with business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecast demand monthly using methods such as linear growth, Second-Degree & Third-Degree Polynomial Growth, Weighted Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing. Evaluate and apply the most suitable method based on product category and sales patterns.
  • Calculate and maintain optimalsafety stock ,maximum inventory , andreorder points for all products.
  • Place and track purchase orders withmultiple local and international suppliers .
  • Continuously analyze and improveorder frequency ,inventory turnover , andsupplier performance .
  • Adjust forecasts based on seasonality, trends, and historical sales.
  • Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely stock availability.
  • Manage lead times for each supplier and plan purchases accordingly.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for inventory status, purchase schedules, and forecast accuracy.

Skills

Serco provides logistics sustainment and contingency support to IFRCO both OCONUS (Kuwait, Iraq & Syria) and CONUS (Redstone Arsenal, Yuma Proving Ground, and Fort Sill, OK) by conducting logistics database administration and lifecycle management of supplies.

You will become part of our Kuwait based logistics team supporting multiple government customers in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control and Total Asset Visibility, including shipping and receiving, configuration management, distribution management, property accountability, and equipment disposition.

The Logistics Analyst will be part of a diverse team of highly talented personnel who work closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality logistics support to IFRCO.

In this role, you will:

- Provide logistician experience to:

- Manage supplies and conduct warehousing functions to support government and military operations in an austere environment
- Inventory, package, ship, retrograde, transport, and maintain accountability of government property to support military operations
- Document the inventory, receipt, and shipment of equipment and systems
- Provide expertise in:

- Preparing assets for DLA-DA (DRMO) and turn-in to support phasing out unneeded equipment
- Utilizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and/or government logistics databases to move systems and equipment within the Iraq theater

Qualifications:

- An active DoD Secret clearance
- US citizenship
- High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience in Supply and Warehouse management within Government or Military operations

- Experience utilizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics databases.

- Forklift Experience, commercial or military
