This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, supervises the daily operations of the assigned A.O.R. Maintenance Supervisor, providing technical and operational guidance to a multi-national maintenance workforce. Ensures that efforts are properly accounted for in accordance with military regulations, company SOPs, and work instructions. Responsible for the accountability and status of all equipment assigned to the section, overseeing bench stock management, driver training/education, safety, and environmental awareness.
ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change as needed to meet program or company requirements.
- Supervises personnel engaged in field-level maintenance.
- Plans and schedules maintenance and services for all assigned equipment.
- Holds hand receipt for tools, equipment, and spare parts; supervises inventory of sensitive/controlled items.
- Utilizes GCSS-Army for maintenance management.
- Monitors work orders and production for all equipment requiring corrective action.
- Tracks equipment services, PMCS, administrative services, and unscheduled maintenance; manages personnel work schedules and monitors performance.
- Ensures daily reports are current and accurate.
- Supervises security, supply, and maintenance operations related to assigned equipment.
- Tracks recoverable items to ensure compliance with exchange pricing and recoverable items program.
- Identifies causes of equipment readiness issues, implements corrective actions, and reports systemic problems.
- Enforces LOGCAP standards and performance work statements.
- Prepares reports on safety, quality, supply, and maintenance issues.
- Prepares and presents reports and briefings to management and external agencies.
- Performs environmental control duties and other assigned tasks.
- Communicates professionally in oral and written forms.
- Prepares and briefs reports on maintenance schedules, performance, and trends across the A.O.R.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; military or civilian maintenance and supply management training preferred.
- Ability to obtain U.S. and Kuwait driver’s licenses, including heavy vehicle license.
- GCSS-Army or other STAMIS certification required.
- Must be CAC eligible or able to obtain a CAC.
Experience: 4-6 years in maintenance and supply management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of GCSS-Army, TAMMS, and Class IX supply operations.
- Experience with tactical and commercial equipment.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and recognize military rank structures.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, automotive systems, and maintenance documentation.
- Knowledge of TMDE management, logistics programs, and safety standards.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and supervisory skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises up to 30 employees, including leads, coordinators, and specialists.
Working Environment: Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, hazards, and physical demands typical of maintenance operations.
Physical Requirements: Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Ensures all quality standards and metrics are met, work is properly completed, and environmental standards are upheld in coordination with ESH plan.
+ Manages assigned resources necessary to accomplish the mission.
+ Enforces strict adherence to technical data and management procedures.
+ Adjusts resources to meet production requirements.
+ Manages the special certification roster.
+ Ensures accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions.
+ Reviews and evaluates management and production effectiveness.

+ Participates in the maintenance planning cycle.
+ Ensures only qualified personnel accomplish maintenance with the appropriate equipment and tools.
+ Ensures compliance with safety directives, appropriate occupational safety and health standards, and applicable industrial safety publications. Those occupational training requirements that require documentation will be annotated on the appropriate records.
+ Ensures scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in the MIS.
+ Advises the production supervision of conditions that may disrupt the orderly and controlled execution of the maintenance plan.
+ Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions.
+ Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
**Education:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience:**
+ Must have a comprehensive knowledge of maintenance repairs on a variety of equipment and at least seven (7) years of supervisory experience with a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in maintenance management.
**Specialized Knowledge and Skills:**
+ Must have comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures.
+ Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the Logistics STAMIS in use and must have the ability to supervisor mechanics, provide information, reports, resolve issues, recommend actions to improve delivery of service, coordinate special requirements with production control and shift leads.
+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
+ Must possess the appropriate verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, evaluate plans, and prepare reports, plans and working instructions.
**Certification, License & Clearance:**
+ Driver's license may be required.
+ Tier 1 NACI required for all U.S. Citizens.
+ U.S. Citizenship required.
**Facility credentials/authorization required** : Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
**Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:**
+ Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
+ Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
