Required QA/QC Manager for Oil and Gas Services company in Ahmadi.

• Lead the QA/QC team. Ensure the competence and effectiveness of the QA/QC Team.
• Oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to the successful completion of audits.
• Maintain all measurement, inspection, testing, and metrology (MMT) equipment in good condition with valid calibration. Oversee all calibration activities.
• Responsible for quality-related customer complaints and nonconformances. Perform root cause analysis and recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Responsible for qualification of WPS, PQR, welder qualification, and continuity.
• Liaise with NDT contractors, inspection agencies, and service providers to execute and complete activities.

• B.Tech / BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector qualification or equivalent.
• NDE Level II in PT, MT, UT, RT & VT.
• Hands-on knowledge in at least two of the API specifications API 5CT, 7-1, 6A, 16A, 16C & 16D (API 6A & 16A preferred).
• Knowledge of ASME Codes Sec IX, Sec V, Sec VIII Div 1.
• General awareness of material grades and requirements commonly used in the Oil & Gas industry.

Overview

Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferred O & G experience.

-To ensure Quality, Health Safety & Environmental Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within HOTECC, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements.

-To prepare project quality plan (PQP), inspection and test plans, method statements for upcoming/tendering projects as per the tendering department requirements. To coordinate and support quality audit programs including Internal and external IMS audits. To evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.

-To investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

-To collect, compile and analyze statistical data to identify areas for improvement.

-To report quality performance metrics and trends to the management team, including major issues which could affect business performance.

-To identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.

-To identify, plan and implement key projects to improve quality and standards that are followed across the organization.

-To develop and co-ordinate the performance excellence/performance improvement plan. To provide management with QA status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.

-To liaison with HR, Finance, IT, Operations etc. and other members of the organization as part of developing procedures and QA standards.

-Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering, and not less than 10 years’ experience in Construction or similar field.
• Proven QMS experience from an ISO 9001:2015 Certified company.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
• Certifications an advantage including ISO 9001:2015 Auditor.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.
• Works well in team environment, with sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.
