Role Description

Key Responsibilities
- System Administration:

- Network & Security Management:

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in IT system administration and/or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration.
- Experience with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

We are looking for two Field Service Representatives to provide on-site technical support to the operators and staff at the Joint Simulation and War-Game Centre (JSWGC).
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Representing CAE to the Customer and End User.
- Providing onsite technical support to JSWGC operators and staff running
- GlobalSim and supporting software at the hub and spoke locations.
- Assist in the development and conduct of exercises.
- Assist in building the database, ORBATs, scenarios and mapping.
- Assist with running software updates and resolving hardware and software issues, liaising with 3rd party companies, when required.
- Ensure that all security processes, procedures, and documentation standards in relation to the assignment are adhered to and maintained.
- University degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent; specifically knowledge of Computer networks, MS Office, Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in programming and scripting.
- Demonstrable experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent.
- Military background or experience of working in a military environment.
- Knowledge of command and staff training systems.
