The Technical Sales Representative will be based in Kuwait and will also be responsible for overseeing sales activities in Qatar. Responsibilities- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients by presenting tailored solutions based on operational needs.
- Own and drive the full sales lifecycle, from planning and proposals to delivery support and follow-up.
- Visit customer sites regularly to ensure product/service alignment and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present formal and informal proposals, bids, and tenders to new and existing clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of Weatherford’s products, tools, and digital platforms.
- Utilize systems like Salesforce (SFDC), XAIT-Porter, and ForeSite for sales planning and reporting.
- Monitor service quality and address customer concerns in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across segments.
- Coordinate with account managers to align on annual upsell plans and growth strategies.
- Track revenue targets and take action to address sales gaps throughout the year.
- Comply with HSE, Security, and Compliance standards, upholding Weatherford’s "Rules to Live By."
- Support internal sales training initiatives and help develop the technical capabilities of the team.
- Promote continuous improvement, responsible care, and quality service delivery at all times.
- Provide competitor intelligence, customer feedback, and market insights to technical and commercial teams.
- Contribute to financial planning by managing expenses and ensuring cost-effective client interactions.
- Participate actively in career development, including product, negotiation, and financial training.
- Strong knowledge of oilfield and production optimization software: PIPESIM, Petex Tools, Wellflow, REO, ForeSite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client relationship and presentation abilities
- Proficiency with digital sales tools (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC, XAIT-Porter)
- Strategic, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset

- Understanding of technical sales lifecycle and operational support
- Minimum 6 years of sales experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry
