The Purpose

Responsible for tracking, analysing and presenting B2B performance against targets and competition across business segments. Ability to discern patterns or trends from organized information for highlighting actionable outcomes. The role involves data modelling to analyse movement of business numbers and generating incites for management decision making. The analysis will involve tracking key elements linked to customer, revenue, cost optimization and margin growth. Responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns. Access market opportunities maintain and develop models for data reporting, participate in projects and ad-hoc analyses.

Key Accountabilties & Responsiblities

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly trend analysis of B2B KPI’s

Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

Ability to reconcile systems and reports and create KPI’s to match the business needs.

Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

Monitor Product profitability

Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures

Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Review business activity and identify recommendations for B2Bmanagement, sales and customer operations.

Working with the analytical functions (Finance/Marketing/Sales/BI ) inside the business to understand requirement and proactively develop tools to support analysis and decision-making

Ability to reconcile reports from different systems and identifying the gap.Provide ad hoc analyses, presentations, and recommendations according to the top management’s needs.

Take responsibility for self-improvement by staying informed about the developments and trends in the industry.

Qualifications

University degree (preferably from Statistics, Data Science , Finance, Management, or IT)

Requirements

Excellent communication and presentation skills

- c) Monitor tank inventories and check for any discrepancies in inventory measurements.
- d) Monitor fuel consumption for overall complex and report any deviations from target
- Loss Reduction: Support all manufacturing unit to identify improvements area to control material losses and reduce fuel consumption.
- Tools and Solution: Provides input and identify the requirements in the development process and maintenance of the mass balance/data reconciliation and production accounting software modules.
- Upkeep of DVR system and MB model for the complex wide mass balance calculation including the different input data capturing process, loss identification & account and reporting of losses and ensure that tools and or model are fully auditable with all necessary tracking mechanisms of all records and data.
- Measurement Review: Reviews and ensure reliability of production data and the different measurement and liaise with relevant supporting departments for any correction including but limited to items such as flow meters accuracy, temperature measurement, density measurement calibration of the meters, etc.
- Monitor flow meter and all product transfer measurement and collaborate with all related parties for the necessary calibration of the meters/Provers & tanksetc.
- Minimize and control the loss by monitoring, verifying measurements, investigation, and developing the necessary corrective/preventive action plan and follow-up implementation.
- Liaise with all concerned in developing plans to improve measurement, such as evaluating and implementing recent technology, adding new flow meters etc.
- Reviews and ensure proper input to mass balance calculation and liaise with concerned parties for any correction including but limited items such as flow meters accuracy, temperature measurement, etc.
- Performance monitoring: Maintain EKON$ reporting system with necessary upgrades and changes.
- Process Unit Performance: Liaise with PED to reduce MB losses in specific units and improve overall complex mass balance closure.
- Performance Management: Prepare and on-time reports all related KPIs and support Company benchmark study regarding mass balance and fuel consumption e.g. Solomon Associate benchmark.
- Ship to Shore Difference and Quantity Measurement Discrepancy: Develop and implement full process of monitoring and investigating cargo volume discrepancies (ship/shore difference) at loading port and discharge ports in line with relevant Marketing Agreements and international maritime standard and ensure proper and stringent measurement controls are in place.
- Flare monitoring: a) Flare Monitoring: Monitor and report on daily / monthly basis the flaring amount and estimated financial magnitude. Lias with PED/TSD to correct/verify estimation of flare quantity (Formula, composition adjustments etc)

About the opportunity

This role will involve managing analytics and reporting for Vendor Operations and Vendor Performance across the country. The vendor operations specialist will take ownership of analytics, reporting and improving service levels by measuring compliance, finding performance gaps, and recommending key actions to improve performance.

**What’s on Your Plate?**
- Reporting and monitoring of KPIs and performance SLAs
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify and solve vendor operations and performance problems by analyzing and deriving insights from large, complex sets of data
- Providing all data needed for vendor performance improvement at the country level and acting as a consultant for the Operations Manager
- Optimize key KPIs such as coverage, preparation time, vendor delay, reduce offline duration, etc through clear insights and recommend action area for overall improvement
- Manage related back office tools and make necessary adjustments based on business needs.
- Project Manage key projects for performance improvement.
- Run experiments, develop dashboards, and use data visualizations to communicate results to leadership
- Support Vendor Operations team in executing strategic projects

What you need to be successful

- Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred
- Extensive experience in Data Analytics tools like tableau, Looker, etc
- Experience and knowledge with using SQL is preferable
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good stakeholder management skills: Experience in presenting to cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, work under pressure, handle stress

Candidate skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or a relevant field

  • Strong understanding of the Kuwait Labor Law
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization
