In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and contributing to the efficient management of the organization’s tax position and manage compliance with tax laws and regulations applicable in GCC countries and Egypt.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of applicable taxes and regulations to provide expert advice on tax compliance, develop and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures and risk assessment frameworks, mitigate financial risks to ensure effective tax management.

Skills

  8. Advise internal stakeholders on direct and indirect tax implications of intra-group agreements and contractual arrangements with third-party vendors and service providers.
  9. Ensure completion and filing of all applicable tax returns for the Group’s entities.
  10. Assist in the development and communication of tax policies, procedures and processes, and internal control procedures and ensure compliance therewith.
  11. Assist in the development of tax planning initiatives by applying international tax laws, foreign tax laws and double tax treaties to minimize foreign and domestic taxes on foreign income.
  12. Monitor the effective tax rates of the individual entities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  13. Support all corporate strategic initiatives, including evaluation of the tax implications of activities, structures, and transactions.
What We Need From You

Educational Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. CPA certification (or CPA candidate) is a plus.
  3. ADIT certification (or ADIT candidate) is a plus.

Experience

  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in local and international taxation with a Big 4 Firm or a multinational company.

Your key responsibilities

You'll play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, translating data into insights and building strong client relationships across industries. You'll also lead multiple transfer pricing engagements and contribute to high-quality tax planning services.

Skills and attributes for success

You'll apply advanced transfer pricing and economic concepts to solve client challenges, prepare documentation, support audits, model financial outcomes, and collaborate globally to deliver integrated, innovative solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Management, Tax, Law or another relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • A master’s degree or a professional qualification such as CPA, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), American Society of Appraiser's Business Valuation Certification or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work at a fast-paced, often with shifting responsibilities.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline
  • A consistent record of excellence in a professional services environment
  • Existing transfer pricing experience
