Job Description
Responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the IT Infrastructure department. This position will focus on the operation and administration of cloud infrastructure systems, managing and maintaining cloud security controls.
Your Responsibilities
Functional
- Manage and support Microsoft office 365 suite, Azure Identity, endpoint management (Intune) and Microsoft SharePoint online
- Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure resources, virtual machines, licenses, services and network integration
- Manage and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to ensure real-time threat detection
- Implement security access controls, maintain the cloud infrastructure security posture and hands-on experience on Microsoft Defender XDR suite and Microsoft 365 security and compliance portal
- Participate in security incidents and forensic analysis upon requirement
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with industry systems standards
- Write scripts for the purpose of automating routine tasks, reports and ad hoc requirements
- Address events raised by monitoring systems and analyz alerts’ trends to ensure system healthiness
- Monitor, plan and coordinate the distribution of and applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes
- Work with system and services’ architects during major incidents and planned changes
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Document system configuration and incident technical details upon requirement

- Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include, but is not limited to, Active Directory Organization Units (OU), objects (Users, Computers, MAB), security groups, Windows File Server, Network Policy Server (NPS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Print Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), Application Servers such as GemOne.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts as necessary.
- Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft servers on NIPR, SIPR, and SIPR-REL.
- Management of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Utilize vSphere clients to conduct snapshots and monitor system availability.
- Perform regular maintenance, installing IAVA approved patches to enforce server security and maintain system availability.
- Maintains system hardening by following DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Utilize AESMP ticketing system to document troubleshooting steps prior to completing and or escalating to the next level of support.

The Systems Administrator I monitors the Tier 1 and/or 2 server operations/performance using appropriate software applications and tools. The Administrators shall be the Helpdesk POC for all theater NIPR and SIPR enterprise systems issues, create and/or manage trouble tickets, and monitor status and report outages to NOC Operations. Responsibilities
+ Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include, but is not limited to, Active Directory Organization Units (OU), objects (Users, Computers, MAB), security groups, Windows File Server, Network Policy Server (NPS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Print Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), Application Servers such as GemOne.
+ Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts as necessary.
+ Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft servers on NIPR, SIPR, and SIPR-REL.
+ Management of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
+ Utilize vSphere clients to conduct snapshots and monitor system availability.
+ Perform regular maintenance, installing IAVA approved patches to enforce server security and maintain system availability.
+ Maintains system hardening by following DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
+ Utilize AESMP ticketing system to document troubleshooting steps prior to completing and or escalating to the next level of support.

The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of site level servers. The candidate must be able to coordinate and oversee system backups, hardware installation, software installation, and system upgrades. The position will require individuals to establish work center schedules, maintain exceptional conduct and discipline, and ensures all subordinates are adequately trained to perform assigned tasks. Responsibilities
+ Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include, but is not limited
+ to, Microsoft 2008 Active Directory, Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), Domain Name System (DNS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), print queues, etc.
+ Responsible for the daily administration of Exchange servers (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access (OWA).
+ Management of Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
+ Uses VERITAS Backup Exec to conduct file server backup and restores.
+ Maintains systems availability and performs regular maintenance on equipment.
+ Proficient at hardware maintenance and troubleshooting of various vendor server platforms including Dell, HP, LTO tape library, fiber switch, and SANs.
+ Maintains antivirus and security requirements by the US Army standards and regulations.
+ Provides user and Microsoft Exchange account maintenance as required.
+ Establishes shift schedules.
+ Performs employee appraisals, training records and is well versed with the Vectrus Leadership guide
