As a Civil Engineer working on variety of hotel infrastructure projects, supervise, design, constructions, maintenance of public and private sector projects, communicate with the engineers, architects, subcontract, construction managers and ensure completion of projects on time within the budget and meet safety, environmental, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Project evaluation, feasibility, and planning assessments
• Contract agreement negotiations and review
• Monitoring of equipment and material compliance with specifications
• Engineering design and planning reviews
• Schedule analysis, optimization, and monitoring of construction progress
• Operational and maintenance review for the properties and hotels owned
• Implementing risk management policies and procedures.
• Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and overseeing quality control.
• Promote and maintain health and safety rules.
• Maintain regular communication with all parties to maintain the project's progress.

Skills

• Technical Skills :Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), knowledge of construction materials and methods, and strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with hospitality design principles, sustainability standards (e.g.,LEED), and the specific challenges of designing for the hospitality sector, such as the need for durable materials.
• Project Management : Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and coordinate with various teams.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, as well as the ability to work in teams.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design and construction challenges.
• Planning and Design : Analyzing site conditions, preparing designs using CAD and other software, and ensuring projects comply with regulations and safety standards.
• Project Management : Overseeing construction, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with stakeholders (architects, contractors, etc.), and resolving design or construction issues.
• Construction Oversight : Ensuring projects are built according to plans, managing site activities, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, accredited by the Kuwait Society of Engineers.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
• Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.

• Check Site quality before acceptance.

• Make tracker and reports according to client’s requirements.
• Access arrangement for site implementation.
• Sites Quality and Standards Assurance.
• Teams management, Coordination with different implementation teams.
• Maintaining relationship to customer’s engineer to ensure the technical performances included in design & implementation activities meet with customer qualification.

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role (Telecom experience is a plus).
