JobSummary:

We are looking for a highly skilled AmadeusSoftware Development Engineer to design, develop, and support traveltechnology solutions that leverage the Amadeus platform. The ideal candidatewill have hands-on experience with Amadeus APIs, Web Services, andintegration frameworks , and will play a key role in building scalable androbust applications for airline, OTA, or corporate travel operations.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions thatintegrate with the Amadeus GDS and related services (e.g., Altea, SellingPlatform Connect, Amadeus Web Services).
• Implement and optimize travel booking workflows,including air, hotel, car, and ancillaries.
• Develop APIs and backend components that interact withAmadeus services for availability, pricing, ticketing, and PNR management.
• Work closely with business analysts, QA, and productmanagers to gather requirements and translate them into technicalsolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliverhigh-performance and scalable travel applications.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews,and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance,and implement enhancements.
• Stay current with Amadeus updates, SDKs, and travelindustry trends.

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in softwaredevelopment with integration to Amadeus systems.
• Strong understanding of Amadeus Web Services(SOAP/XML or REST/JSON) and travel booking logic.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java,Python, C#, or Node.js .
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, andservice-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Knowledge of travel industry standards (IATA, PNRs,e-tickets, GDS workflows).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

PreferredQualifications:

• Experience with Amadeus Altea Suite , ARD Web, orNew Distribution Capability (NDC).
• Knowledge of other GDSs (Sabre, Galileo) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, orGCP).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Travel domain certifications or Amadeus DeveloperCertification.

• Responsibilities
• Perform Business Requirement Management by Leading comprehensive requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders using interviews, surveys, and workshops.
• Capable of Translating high-level business objectives into detailed functional, technical, and operational specifications. And ensuring all requirements are aligned with business strategy, regulatory frameworks, and IT capabilities.
• Expertise in Drafting and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) aligned with CBK, PSD2, and Other Banking regulations. Ensuring all documentation follows internal governance and industry best practices.
• Maintain traceability matrices to ensure requirements are validated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the complete Change Request (CR) lifecycle from initiation, impact/feasibility assessment, business case preparation, CAB approvals, deployment, and closure.
• Evaluate business and technical risks for each change and provide recommendations to senior management. Also work closely with vendors, technology partners, and external stakeholders on system or regulatory-driven change requests.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis, operational feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new initiatives and provide structured business cases to management and stakeholders for investment decisions along with Identifying potential risks, dependencies, and compliance gaps before implementation.
• Analyze business workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks.
• Recommend structured process improvements, automation opportunities, and control enhancements by driving alignment with ITIL/ISO 2000 best practices in IT service delivery and process design.
• Define UAT scope, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and execution plans and also Support business users in UAT execution, defect resolution, and sign-off.
• Develop an rollback and contingency procedures are in place before go-live as part of the project life cycle.
• Monitoring project progress, escalate risks, and ensure timely delivery of critical business initiatives and Provide project governance inputs and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
• Prepare and present post-implementation performance, risk, and impact reports to senior stakeholders.
• Leverage tools like Power BI and MS Office tools to develop dashboards for performance tracking.
• Act as a primary liaison between business users, IT teams, external vendors, and regulators. Facilitate clear communication, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts between stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior business analysts, ensuring consistent quality in analysis and documentation.

Candidate Profile

highly skilled Senior Business Analyst Business Management with the right blend of education, experience, and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or IT. Certifications such as CBAP, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL are highly valued.
• 7 years in business analysis and Minimum of 5+ Years Experience in banking with hands on experience on project delivery, and change management, with strong exposure to CR lifecycles.
• Technical and behavioral Expertise:
• BRD/CR drafting and documentation expertise.
• SQL query knowledge & data validation.
• Understanding of banking products including assets , liabilities , accounts , cards and regulatory requirements
• Understanding technology high level landscape will be added value
• Previous experience in digital transformation and digital eco system & payments will be added value
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS DevOps.
• Advanced MS Office & Power BI reporting skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management.
