As the Airfield Operations Manager - Site Lead, you will be responsible to monitor and coordinate airfield and aircraft activities to provide a safe, efficient, and effective airfield environment for aircraft operations.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Performs airfield checks for safety and compliance with planning and design criteria.
- Plans, organizes, and directs airfield activities to include airfield construction/repairs, airfield driving program, ice/snow removal operations, Bird/Wildlife control, etc.
- Procures, maintains, and produces information on safe operation of aircraft through the national and international airspace system such as Flight Information Publications, aeronautical charts and maps, NOTAM, local airfield and navigational aid status, and weather information.
- Process domestic and international flight plans.
- Initiates overdue aircraft procedures and provides flight following services.
- Coordinates with base agencies to meet aircrew requirements for billeting, messing, refueling, transportation, and transient aircraft maintenance.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved DoD Airfield Managers course.
- Experience managing wildlife on and around airfield grounds and implementing bird aircraft strike hazard procedures.
- Experience coordinating airfield maintenance, construction projects, hazardous cargo and live fire devices.
- Experience conducting airfield checks in accordance with AFMAN13-204v2.

**LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS**:

- Thoroughly familiar with assigned equipment, standard maintenance practices, maintenance documentation, and processes.

  • Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects such as FEED (front end engineering design) studies and preparation, ITB (invitation to bid) check estimate preparation, LSTK (lump sum turnkey) tender package preparation are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
  • Act as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the client’s expectations are satisfied.
  • Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.

  • Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements included in design and procurement.

Client Relationships

  • Maintains and builds healthy client relationships.

Scope Management

What You'll Do

Management, control, coordination and supervision services as well as assistance for the assigned project inclusive of budget formulation, cost control and quality assurance. Management of support services for supervising and directing engineering, procurement and management of construction contractors appointed by the Client. Management of services for Oil & Gas production activities including start-up and initial operations assistance as well as operational personnel and systems as required by the Client. Reports to the Line Manager and is authorized to deputize for him during his absence with a proven track record of managing multi-projects in general and Design & Engineering and Construction function in particular, in the oil and gas industry Is responsible for developing the overall strategy for soil remediation in the assigned areas, it includes contracting strategies and management of contractors. Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects such as FEED (front end engineering design) studies and preparation, ITB (invitation to bid) check estimate preparation, LSTK (lump sum turnkey) tender package preparation are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner. Act as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the client’s expectations are satisfied. Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.

What You'll Have

HSE Management

Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements included in design and procurement.

Client Relationships

Maintains and builds healthy client relationships. Proactively resolves performance, scope and schedule issues with the Client as they arises Identifies, documents, communicates and meets the client’s requirements

Scope Management

Compliance with WPMP (Worley Project Management Plan) Compliance with requirements of the contract. Effective change control process application. Achievement of claims mitigation and claims management if appropriate.

Cost Control

Monitors cost aspects of the project within direct control to forecast final costs, identifies trends and takes action to avoid cost overruns. Promotes implementation of VIP (value improving practices) on the assigned project to achieve overall effectiveness of the use of capital on projects.

Quality Management

Contributes to compliance with Worley policies and procedures. Strong working knowledge of Worley engineering and procurement systems and procedures.

Team Management

Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives. Listens to the team, discusses the issues, resolves problems and directs activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives.

Design Management

Sets clear objectives to the design team, including achieving productivity and budget targets. Ensures design team aware of, and complies with, applicable regulations and codes. Manages inter-discipline interfaces effectively.

About You

You are an individual who is self-motivated, proactive, and works well with a team. You will be seen as the Subject matter specialist for the resolution of issues arising across all areas of the job and be able to clearly explain complex processes that surround the role. We expect you to ensure the integrity of the work scope and that all work is carried-out in accordance with applicable codes and standards. We expect you to mentor of less experienced members of staff including ‘hands on’ approach to the formulation and delivery of training programs for local Kuwaiti personnel.

Description

EPortal is actively recruiting for the role of Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT and LV projects and working closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements, developing project plans, manage key client projects, oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Oversee the project portfolio report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Highlight risks and perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Lead and manage IT and LV projects for external clients.
  • Define project objectives, project scope, roles and responsibilities.
  • Define resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
  • Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, deliverables workstreams and activities.
  • Track project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
Qualifications

To apply to this role, you must meet the below minimum qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in a similar role.
