Over Night- Room Service Server Full Time

What You Will Do
- Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
- Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; coordinate food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations as well as the back-of-house areas.
- Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
- Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a five-star luxury hotel.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Arabic is a plus.
- Active listening skills.

Job DescriptionWhat You Will Do:
- Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
- Anticipate and service of guest’s requirements before requests are necessary.
- Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
- Present menus and explanations for all menu items as well as specials of the day.
- Present children's menus, when appropriate, and describe specials and Alternative Cuisine.
- Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver.
- Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem, which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in similar role in a five-star luxury hotel or high end Lebanese restaurant in the Middle East.
- Must have fluent level of English & Arabic languages both written and spoken.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

What you'll do
- Build and lead a globally distributed team of engineers
- Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development
- Work with Product Management to define the vision and strategy for Ubuntu and your team
- Effectively set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders
- Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices
- Develop and evangelize engineering and organizational practices
- Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with company values
- Be an active part of the leadership team and collaborate with other leaders in the organization
- Participate in rigorous engineering processes through code and architectural review
- Engage with teams at Canonical, the open source community and commercial partners
- Oversee the quality of the Ubuntu Server image family
- Plan and deliver Ubuntu Server features
- Work from home with global travel for up to 6 weeks per year for internal and external events
Who you are
- You love developing and growing people and have a strong track record of doing it
- You are knowledgeable and passionate about software development
- You have 3+ years of experience in leading, managing, coaching and mentoring software developers. Experience managing distributed teams is a plus
- You are focused on success and the delivery of timely, high-quality software
- You have experience working in an agile development environment
- You have a Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree
- You have strong written and verbal technical communication skills in English
- You have experience with a modern GNU/Linux distribution; Debian or Ubuntu preferred
- You have practical experience with at least one of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Amazon Web Services
