In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and contributing to the efficient management of the organization’s tax position and manage compliance with tax laws and regulations applicable in GCC countries and Egypt.
Role & Responsibilities- Conduct a thorough analysis of applicable taxes and regulations to provide expert advice on tax compliance, develop and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures and risk assessment frameworks, mitigate financial risks to ensure effective tax management.

- Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Identify potential tax risks and propose risk mitigation strategies. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Assess the impact of new tax regulations on the company’s operations and provide recommendations
- Experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment in GCC.
- Experienced in performing Trial Balance / General Ledger Review, review of Statutory Financial Statements including Consolidation Financial Statements.
- Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting and IFRS.
- In-depth knowledge of GCC tax laws, VAT, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing regulations.
- Familiarity with tax technology tools and software.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is required (both written and spoken).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Assist in the development of tax planning initiatives by applying international tax laws, foreign tax laws and double tax treaties to minimize foreign and domestic taxes on foreign income.
- Monitor the effective tax rates of the individual entities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support all corporate strategic initiatives, including evaluation of the tax implications of activities, structures, and transactions.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification (or CPA candidate) is a plus.

Experience
