ITA is seeking a Security Forces Amorer Support to join the team in Kuwait.

Responsibilities

Work is to be accomplished for the United States Air Force Central Command at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. Direct support will be provided to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron performing Base Security Operations and Support services at Al Dhafra AB, UAE; Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait; Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait; Prince Sultan AB (PSAB), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA); Muwaffaq-Salti AB (MSAB), Jordan; Al Udeid AB, Qatar and in CONUS.

The Contractor shall:

1. Manage the accountability, protection, issue, and receive all firearms, communications, equipment, and related assets.
2. Account for, issue, and provide annual forecast for munitions needed for operations.
3. Manage armorers and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and daily task coordination for the armory.
4. Plan, schedule, and conduct all armory training. Responsible for documentation of qualifications upon completion.
5. Be knowledgeable of Air Force weapons maintenance and parts processes and shall be able to conduct maintenance on weapons.
6. Manage armory equipment as primary or alternate equipment custodian.
7. Be responsible for cleaning of all unassigned weapons.

Qualifications

- Three (3) years of experience managing a DoD Armory.

- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Additional qualifications are desired:

1. Training and experience with USAF Equipment Management Process.
2. A USAF 7 level skill identification in Combat Arms.
3. Experience with USAF munitions forecasting.
4. Must possess a DoD approved SECRET security clearance to perform duties under this task order.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the 9th Air Force, a key component of the United States Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) overseeing operations in the Middle East. • Monitor Career Development Course (CDC) enrollments and testing. Conduct formal and informal staff assistance visits throughout the unit and provide commander direct feedback on the quality of training.
• Conduct all in-processing and documents of all new arrivals; coordinate all initial base in-processing requirements.
• Maintain training records for permanently assigned unit individual mobilization augmentees with the coordination of the unit reserve coordinator.
• Submit waivers, as outlined in the Education and Training Course Announcement, for personnel who do not meet eligibility requirements. Use waivers as a last resort when there are no eligible personnel assigned to the unit.
• Assist work center supervisors in the development of Master Task Lists.
• Maintain current versions of all Security Forces Training Reference Guides and make them available to all personnel.
• Manage assigned quotas, request funding for quotas, and submit an out-of-cycle request for emergent training requirements.
• Meet all other positional responsibilities listed in AFI 36-2646.
• Perform duties and responsibilities of Primary Unit Safety Monitor as outlined in AFI 91-202, para 2.2.2.

• Completion of the Principles of Instruction Course as a minimum and five (5) years of military training experience.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Must have a valid state and be able to obtain a Government Driver’s License.

ITA is seeking a Security Forces Amorer Support to join the team in Kuwait.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the 9th Air Force, a key component of the United States Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) overseeing operations in the Middle East. This position provides subject matter expertise to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, helping ensure base security and critical support services in one of the most dynamic and strategically important regions in the world. The 9 th Air Force serves at other locations such as Al Dhafra AB, UAE; Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait; Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait; Prince Sultan AB (PSAB), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA); Muwaffaq-Salti AB (MSAB), Jordan; Al Udeid AB, Qatar and in CONUS.

The Contractor Shall

Manage the accountability, protection, issue, and receive all firearms, communications, equipment, and related assets. Account for, issue, and provide annual forecast for munitions needed for operations. Manage armorers and establishes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and daily task coordination for the armory. Plan, schedule, and conduct all armory training. Responsible for documentation of

Qualifications Upon Completion.

Be knowledgeable of Air Force weapons maintenance and parts processes and shall be able to conduct maintenance on weapons. Manage armory equipment as primary or alternate equipment custodian. Be responsible for cleaning of all unassigned weapons.

Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience managing a DoD Armory. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Additional Qualifications Are Desired

Training and experience with USAF Equipment Management Process. A USAF 7 level skill identification in Combat Arms. Experience with USAF munitions forecasting. Must possess a DoD approved SECRET security clearance to perform duties under this task order.

This position is subject to the provisions of the Lautenberg Amendment.
