  • Candidate will have knowledge in computer system maintenance, assorted software versions and enhancements, analysis and test.

  • Subject matter expert level knowledge with configuration management, installation practices and regulations, research and identify replacement Logical Replacement Units (LRU) for equipment and system upgrades of proprietary systems, and quality assurance practices and requirements.

  • Knowledge in Electromagnetic Capability (EMC) and the functional application of Electromagnetic Interference/Radio Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI) analysis.

  • Conduct maintenance to LENEL (On-Guard) security equipment and peripherals.

  • Conduct maintenance on the installed electronic security system at all supported MSCs.

  • Installation and maintenance on a variety of GSA Electromechanical Locks (X-09, X10, LKM 10K etc.) and GSA storage containers and vaults.



Qualifications:

  • US Citizen

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required

  • Associate degree in Electronics or related field from an accredited college/university with eight years’ experience in physical security systems; or 10 years of Military or civilian equivalent technical training.

  • Required to have at least two years’ experience working with unique software applications, and experience working with server configuration, administration and network support.

  • Maintain ADVANTOR License Authorization and requisite training level to conduct maintenance to ADVANTOR ESS.

  • Maintain GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician Certification.

SOSi is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support a dynamic program in Kuwait. The Cyber Security Information System Security Officer (ISSO) A&A will provide guidance and assistance to the Authorization Official (AO) and Program – Information Systems Security Manager (P-ISSM) in protecting, detecting, characterizing, countering and mitigating unauthorized activity and vulnerabilities on DoD information networks and systems.

  • Adhere to and enforce all relevant Cyber Security policies and procedures.
  • Advise and assist organizations in the preparation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation, Connection Approval Process (CAP), and Approval to Operate (ATO) requests for existing and proposed system or network changes.
  • Provide oversight of Program Managed (PM) and Programs of Record (POR) cybersecurity compliance; coordinate certification and accreditation efforts for PM or POR systems.
  • Ensure effective dissemination, reporting, compliance, and verification processes and procedures.
  • Provide oversight of security violations reporting and incident handling.
  • Audit configuration management and change control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct cybersecurity inspections, assessments, tests and audits as required.
  • Resolve information assurance help desk tickets.
  • Able to socially interact with varying personalities to successfully communicate requirements of documentation and artifacts and results of validation.

  • Demonstrate good writing skills to help with the production of processes and policy.

Overview

SOSi is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support a dynamic program in Kuwait.
