About the Role

The Large Segment Team Leader/Manager is responsible for leading the sales function, ensuring large account managers efforts are constantly aligned to Zain Kuwait's business goals and performance targets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and execution of the Large 1 segments’ sales strategy, ensuring sales targets agreed with Private Accounts Department Manager are met.
  2. Oversee Account Managers in the development of their sales plans, providing expertise and ensuring alignment with overarching strategy.
  3. Monitor Account Managers’ sales performance against the plan regularly and agree on actions to improve performance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager and relevant parties to develop a comprehensive marketing plan. Identify market niches and segments and define tactical plans to achieve set goals and targets.
  • Establish account qualification criteria using market research and telemarketing resources. Identify priority accounts and assign sales responsibilities to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Coordinate with the in-house design team to come up with visuals for the marketing plan that align with customer/organization goals.
  • Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events.

Mangaf, Kuwait ROLE IMPACT As the Director of Sales & Marketing at Ray Hotel by Cloud7, you drive the organization’s revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion. You will organize creative campaigns and promotional events that can make a difference for hotel’s success according to trends and guest requirements. Through strategic planning, innovative campaigns, and strong leadership, you align sales and marketing efforts to capture new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and maximize profitability. Your role ensures the company remains competitive, visible, and trusted in its target markets, ultimately contributing to sustained business success. JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with the General Manager and relevant parties to develop a comprehensive marketing plan. Identify market niches and segments and define tactical plans to achieve set goals and targets. Establish account qualification criteria using market research and telemarketing resources. Identify priority accounts and assign sales responsibilities to ensure optimal coverage. Coordinate with the in-house design team to come up with visuals for the marketing plan that align with customer/organization goals. Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns, exhibitions and promotional events. Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.) Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance. Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses. CONNECTION Coordinate close, frequent, and open communication with HQ Corporate Sales & Marketing and sister properties. Perform market research on target audiences to determine the best ways to reach customers and develop lasting relationships. Maintain relationships with media vendors, community businesses and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities. Liaise with the different departments to align offers and packages with seasonal and strategic goals. INNOVATION Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures, incorporating relevant innovations into operations. Foster brand loyalty through engaging, memorable, and value-driven customer interactions and strategies. CURATION Build a strong booking strategy across FIT leisure, group travel, weddings and celebrations, wellness and Mice. Ensure all customer touchpoints deliver a consistent, high-quality brand experience. Execute various forms of marketing including social media marketing, internet marketing, content marketing, paid advertising and print/radio marketing. Align creative assets and messaging with evolving market trends and consumer preferences. LEADING THE WAY Lead, manage, and motivate an effective team of sales professionals. Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to each member. Propose and oversee the setup of a robust sales administration system covering portfolio and database management. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 6+ years of experience in Kuwait’s Hotels Market and leading a sales team to achieve budgeted sales goals. Minimum 1 year in a pre-opening leadership role is an advantage. Advanced English & Arabic is a must. Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM). Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. Web Trends). Excellent communication skills for coordinating, as well as maintaining key account relationships. Strong ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans.
