**Location: Work from home**
**Salary: $10.87 Per Hour**
**Contract: 15 hours per week, 6 months fixed term**
**Line Manager:Olivia Smith, Helen Sushams and Faiza Khan**
As an Arabic Content Writer/Editor at Twinkl, you’ll be helping to build a new team of passionate professionals working flexibly to write and edit primary focused Arabic content for Twinkl’s emerging Kuwait market. This team will create a wide range of resources for use in the Kuwait School curriculum system, including PowerPoints, display materials, activity sheets, assessments, planning and more. For this role, the majority of your time will be spent creating content for children in the public school system so you must have experience of teaching in this setting, or be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of this system. Strong language skills in both Arabic and English are a must.
**Your weekly activity could include**:
- meeting with other Twinkl writers or the Kuwait Country Manager to discuss new ideas;
- writing content for the Kuwaiti market;
- developing new product ideas with the Kuwait Country Manager.
**Requirements**:
**To succeed in the role, you will**:
- have experience teaching Arabic
- have a sound, current working knowledge of the Kuwait Ministry of Education Curriculum
- be a fantastic communicator who can work in team
- use team feedback to make your resources the best that they can be
- be able to innovate on new resources for our country’s content themes and upcoming events;
- Understand the needs of educators within the Kuwait primary public school system, and will create reliable and trustworthy resources in line with those needs.
**In this role, you will learn**:
- how to create new teacher content for our Kuwaiti team, from the ideation stage to publication on the site;
- how to write and check Arabic resources for our customers;
- remote collaboration, working closely with team members across this market;
- how to develop greater commercial awareness so we can understand the needs of those we want to help.
**We’re are especially interested in anyone who also meets one, or a combination of the following**:
- Qualifications: Holds a relevant teaching qualification: PGCE, BEd or similar.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ classroom experience as an Arabic Language teacher, who has been actively teaching within the last 12 months;
- Skills: Strong grasp of Arabic spelling, punctuation and grammar, and can communicate clearly in English (the team will operate and conduct meetings in English);
