To provide competent nursing care to patients across the lifespan and the health-illness continuum with all types of diagnoses. To apply critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in the application of the nursing process based upon evidence based best practices and clinical pathways. To ensure the safe provision of nursing services in collaboration with the patient/family and the multidisciplinary health care team. To liaise with community resources and to build relationships within the health care community to ensure best outcomes for patients. Works as part of a team of health care professionals in a supportive and caring work environment.
Qualifications- Graduate of Bachelor of Nursing.
- License to practice nursing in Kuwait.
- Yearly Home Care and Community Nursing competency review.
- Maintains certification in CPR.
- Able to communicate both written and oral English; Arabic language skills desired but not required.
- 4 to 5 years nursing experience in home care and community; combination of experience in hospital Emergency, ICU, Medicine or Surgery; NICU considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Advanced Nursing
- Plan and prioritize visits to meet the health and scheduling needs of patients.
- Use the nursing process to develop, coordinate and implement care plans in collaboration with the patient/family.
