Overview
Responsible for the nursing care of patients in their homes and community based upon their scope of practice. To provide competent nursing care to patients across the lifespan and the health-illness continuum with all types of diagnoses. To apply critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in the application of the nursing process based upon evidence based best practices and clinical pathways. To ensure the safe provision of nursing services in collaboration with the patient/family and the multidisciplinary health care team. To liaise with community resources and to build relationships within the health care community to ensure best outcomes for patients. Works as part of a team of health care professionals in a supportive and caring work environment.
Qualifications- Graduate of Bachelor of Nursing.
- License to practice nursing in Kuwait.
- Yearly Home Care and Community Nursing competency review.
- Maintains certification in CPR.
- Able to communicate both written and oral English; Arabic language skills desired but not required.
- 4 to 5 years nursing experience in home care and community; combination of experience in hospital Emergency, ICU, Medicine or Surgery; NICU considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Advanced Nursing
- Plan and prioritize visits to meet the health and scheduling needs of patients.
- Use the nursing process to develop, coordinate and implement care plans in collaboration with the patient/family.
- Complete thorough assessment, monitor and make clinical decisions for patients in their homes.
- Complete risk assessment of client’s home to ensure safety of staff and patient.
- Advocate for the patient and family to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer all types of medications safely and according to policies, procedures and home care competencies.
- Proficient in operating all equipment required for patient care in the home.
- Work as part of a team of health care professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document according to home care policy.
- Act in a professional and responsible manner.
- Provide health education and teaching to patient and family.
- Participate in nursing continuing education program.
- Perform other tasks and duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job, as assigned by the immediate superior.

Nurses wanted With or Without Prometric passed nurses for home-care positions.
Salary: KD 250 Per month for 29 days, 12 hours in a day, with one day holiday. Food is provided during duty time, accommodation is free, and transportation is provided.
Prometric passed nurses will have their visa provided directly. Nurses without Prometric need to pass the exam with an entry visa within three months from the date of entry in Kuwait. If failed, they shall be returned.
We can also provide experienced ANM, GNM, and BSc nurses who have not yet passed the Prometric exam. They can travel first and attend the exam in Kuwait. These candidates are willing to work for a salary in the range of KD 180 and are eligible to get KD 250 after passing Prometric in Kuwait.
