Educational and Experience

Job Purpose

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, driving sales performance, and supervising staff to achieve company objectives.

• Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in merchandising, visual display, and store cleanliness.
• Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention measures.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Multi-Store Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple Miniso stores in Kuwait. This role requires a leader who can drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and motivate store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support multiple store branches across Kuwait.
• Set and monitor sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for each store.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store displays align with brand standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze store performance reports and implement action plans for improvement.
• Manage inventory control, stock levels, and product replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies, health, and safety standards.

Skills

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.

Position Objective

• Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are provided by retail staff and ensure they have the skills and support required for maximizing sales
• Assisting the Store Manager in efficient and profitable operation of the store, in accordance with the Company policies and procedures
• End to end store responsibility in absence of Store Manager
• Promote the Loyalty Program of the company for maximizing loyalty and repeat sales
• Provide feedback to the Store Manager and Area Manager with regards to employees and products

• Must be fashionable / well-groomed and possess up-to-date product knowledge to ensure minimal stock loss
• Maintains knowledge of new product, trend and fashion directives at all times in order to effectively respond to and anticipate customer needs

As one of the first hires of the Kuwait store team, On will rely on you to help co-define the various store operation processes ahead of the opening. Once the doors have opened, you will be in charge of the store's overall performance and delivering exceptional customer service every day. You will oversee all store related operations from inventory management to IT systems to customer flows and product training, as well as all internal team related responsibilities.

Your Mission:

• Continuously embrace and communicate On's values and brand philosophy in team and customer interactions.
• Support staff planning and hiring to build a high performing team.
• Contribute to implementation of ongoing learning and development programs for the store team and on-the-job coaching / training as needed.
• Support monitoring of store key performance indicator to track healthiness of business operations.
• Support FoH (Front-of-House) operations to ensure that exceptional service is provided to each and every customer.
• Oversee inventory management and BoH (Back-of-House) processes for optimized stock levels as well as inbound and outbound product flow requirements.
• Act as in-store troubleshooting expert for On’s systems and processes.
• Act as the SME for store finance processes.

Your Story:

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-focused setting including 1-year managerial responsibilities.
• Operational retail experience in a sports, tech and / or fashion environment is a strong plus.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal, hospitality and communication skills.
• Experience providing interactive and meaningful experience to customers and team members.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional organizational skills to proactively anticipate future store needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• Engagement with sports communities.
