VAM Systems is currently looking for QA for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions: (Bahraini only)

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s/University degree in IT/Business management or equivalent experience
  2. ISTQB certification is valued
  3. Arabic is an added advantage
Required
  1. 2-3 years’ experience in business analysis and web application development.
  2. Prior experience in QA and testing, preferably with scrum team
  3. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  4. Good database management and queries
  5. Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  6. Experience with successful Agile techniques
  7. Ability to work with and lead a team
  8. Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  9. Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  10. Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  11. Professional experience with QA tools, requirements management tools, issue tracking tools e.g., Jira
Skills
  1. Experience and comfort with Agile methodologies
  2. Ability to understand the documentation requirements of requests and problems
  3. Project management skills to lead successful projects
  4. Understand integration and system testing methodology
  5. Ability to define and analyze user requirements proactively
  6. Ability to decide a reasonable plan based on different project types and required efforts for it

In Lebanon, USACE requires Versar to provide one (1) Quality Assurance Construction Representative (QAR) at active construction sites where the general contractor is performing construction tasks. These sites are in Taraya and Beirut, Lebanon:

  • Perform inspections on in-progress construction efforts IAW applicable standards.
  • Review plans for military construction projects, facility modernization, rehabilitation programs, or self-help projects for compliance with the appropriate standards.

Position Requirements

  • Candidate must have considerable construction management knowledge, expertise and experience (minimum 5 years) and an understanding of the key components of construction management (schedule, cost, and quality).
  • Candidate must be able to communicate with the Versar PM and USACE in English, both spoken and written. All reports shall be written in English.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate with the local contractor in either the local language or English.
  • Candidate shall work an average of 40% (2 days) a week at Taraya, the ANTOC CMU Display Building location while work is in progress and an average of 60% (3 days) a week at the Beirut Naval Base (BNB) location until the completion of the ANTOC CMU Display Building.

Other Information

  • The candidate must be familiar with Corps of Engineer manuals ER 1180-1-6 Construction Quality Management and be able to conduct Quality Assurance through the implementation of three phase control system.ie; preparatory phase, initial phase and follow up phase.
  • The candidate must have the ability to work under austere conditions in Lebanon and must pass a medical screening physical to obtain a "fitness for duty" letter.
  • The candidate must pass any background check required by the host country and be cleared by the US government.
  • Candidates should expect to work five days a week, 8 hours a day
  • Lodging and transportation allowance will be provided as well as meals for Taraya location only.

The candidate must have the ability to work under austere conditions in Lebanon and must pass a medical screening physical to obtain a "fitness for duty" letter. Our Client, one of the largest Refinery in Kuwait is currently recruiting for Analyst - Quality Assurance & Business Development for Long Term Permanent role based in Kuwait.

**About this role** Responsibilities**:

- Managing, controlling, coordination and sustaining of company’s integrated management system comprising of multiple international standards with respect to accreditation and certification requirements; Internal Audit; Surveillance Audits;
- Planning and scheduling of Business Process Improvement initiatives and coordination for successful execution;
- Manage and maintain Business Excellence Program initiatives and coordination for successful execution;
- Perform Internal Audits on company’s accredited certification standards;
- Mentor staffs in the areas of management system & Audit.

**What you need to bring** Minimum Qualification & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Certification: IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor;
- Minimum of 20 years’ experience with at least 5 years in senior position with Oil, Gas and Petrochemical;
- Business Excellence & Business Process Improvement projects within Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industry;
- Integrated Management System full life cycle implementation, management and control covering a minimum of three ISO standards comprising ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 within Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industry;
- Minimum of 20 Internal Audits under ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
