The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement operations, overseeing strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards to achieve cost efficiency, product quality, and uninterrupted supply chain performance. This role requires strong expertise in procurement, supply chain optimization, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business continuity and growth.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
- Lead optimization initiatives to balance cost, quality, and operational efficiency, collaborating with supply chain, quality control, and operations teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers and logistics partners.
- Manage the full supplier lifecycle including selection, onboarding, performance evaluations, and compliance with quality, safety, and ethical standards.
- Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms while maintaining product and service excellence.
- Use analytics and market intelligence to support data-driven procurement decisions.
- Implement procurement best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and supply resilience.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team with a culture of accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, operations, and quality control to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
- Promote effective communication and knowledge sharing to support unified execution and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Proven success in managing complex supply chains and supplier ecosystems.
- Experience negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
