We are looking for a Process Engineer for one of our clients (Oil & Gas) based in Kuwait.
The candidate will be responsible for providing operations support to the operating site and ensuring the design intent is implemented during the operation phase. Responsibilities include developing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) studies, performance reports, and identifying improvement opportunities for Operations and HSE. The role also involves client interactions, monitoring process/equipment performance, identifying gaps, and developing and implementing MOCs through internal procedures.
Activities include:
- Understanding the process/technology to optimize service delivery throughout facility operations, considering inputs from OEM, product specifications, and cost of solutions.
- Implementing best operating practices with a continuous learning cycle, performing root cause analysis for failure cases, developing conceptual solutions, and liaising with engineering for implementation.
- Reviewing and understanding client specifications during O&M phases and resolving deviations.
- Reviewing all process engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
- Guiding and assisting junior process/operations engineers.
- Providing inputs to other disciplines during O&M phases.
- Reviewing technical requisitions and bid analyses for safety studies, and participating in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and other safety studies.
- Participating in 3D model interdisciplinary reviews.
- Reviewing and commenting on outsourced process engineering designs.
- Reviewing installation, operation (start-up and shut-down), and maintenance manuals, including lists for consumables, special tools, lubricants, and utilities.
