ITA is seeking an CSS Administrative Support Specialist to join the team in Kuwait.

Responsibilities

Work is to be accomplished for the United States Air Force Central Command at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. Direct support will be provided to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron performing Base Security Operations and Support services at Al Dhafra AB, UAE; Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait; Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait; Prince Sultan AB (PSAB), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA); Muwaffaq-Salti AB (MSAB), Jordan; Al Udeid AB, Qatar and in CONUS.


The Contractor shall:- Perform Commanders Support Staff functions, maintain duty status changes and prepare unit rosters including manpower reporting. Prepare commander’s staff meeting presentation.



- Maintain files of personnel records, office files, official travel orders, and personnel action requests.



- Forecast, review, and process evaluation reports and decorations. Conductadministrative support for in-processing and out-processing of all unit personnel. Attain access to all USAF personnel performance report/decoration tracking systems.



- Serve as the unit travel coordinator/liaison between the TMO and unit members. Perform other administrative functions as required.



Qualifications

Candidates must have:- Three (3) years of experience in preparing and processing administrative support actions relating to unit programs.



- Three (3) years of experience managing a commander’s support staff office.



- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.



- A valid state and Government Driver’s License.



- Must possess a DoD approved SECRET security clearance to perform duties under this task order.


All employees must successfully pass all medical screening as required per CENTCOMdeployment standards.


Under the 9AF ESFS contract, all applicants are subject to an in-depth background check to ensure regulation compliance. Eligible applicants will not have any of the following:



  • Pending criminal or civil charges (including divorce/child custody proceedings)

  • Felony arrest record

  • Alcohol related arrest in the last five years

  • Any type of moral turpitude arrest record/history (including, but not limited to, prostitution, pandering, voyeurism, public indecency)

  • Any type of involvement in hate crimes

  • History of violence

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide secretarial and administrative support and services to the relevant group. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION: Provide the relevant group or team with administrative and clerical support when required Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence Program and file documentation and set up and maintain group filing Monitor and, when required, purchase stationary and other office supplies Assist with a range of administrative activities including; 1. Preparation of expense reports 2.Processing of purchase orders/invoices Arrange meetings, including organising equipment requirements, ordering of food and beverages and clearing up meeting rooms at completion of meetings. Arrange and make travel and accommodation arrangements Support the administration teams of other groups when required due to absences Perform reception cover when required Assist with the creation and preparation of correspondence for internal and external clients, documents, presentations and/or publications Provide customer service and ensure that information provided to clients is accurate, timely and in accordance with policy and procedure ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Job Specific: Highly competent in MS Office suite Proven time management and organisational skills Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail. Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet WorleyParsons and its clients needs. Effectively manages change to work tasks and the work environment, and assists others with adapting to change. A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments. Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required. Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams.
