The Visual Merchandiser is in-charge of the proper implantation of the planogram and in-store branding materials in the showrooms.
Job Responsibilities- Instructs the showrooms to clear the Phase out articles as per planogram update
- Making changes to display for improving customer experience
- Finds creative ways to arrange the products to enhance customer experience
- Ensures that signage and promotion graphics are highlighted in proper locations
- Management of supplier stands and branding in the showrooms
- Follow up on gondolas implementation and maintenance
- Coordinates with showrooms to find more space for suppliers stands
- 1-2 years of experience in merchandising and planogramming
- Good level of verbal & written communication skills (English essential / Arabic preferred)
- Good organizational and self-management skills under pressure
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office. Planogram software (JDA and others) is a plus.

TEAM LEADER - VISUAL MERCHANDISING KEY OBJECTIVE
To execute showroom merchandising and implementation strategies and to maximize sales.
KEY PEFORMANCE AREAS
- Ensure consistency of VM standards across all the stores as per the new Visual Merchandising Guidelines and KMP’s.
- Planning and implementation of window roll out as per the pack provided by the Concept Visual Merchandising Department.
- Coordinate with department in charges (Household and Furniture) for New Arrivals/Best Price/ Must Have/Promotional/Fast- and Slow-moving SKU’s for product presentation and visual implementation, so as to make display look appealing yet commercial value.
- Non-Trading orders related to shop fittings, risers should only be handled by the Visual Merchandising Coordinator/Visual Merchandising Management.
SPECIFIC TASKS
Households – Visual Merchandisers
- Visual Merchandisers should be responsible for creating Visual Hits and Focal Displays across all departments; however, the daily maintenance and housekeeping should be taken care by the department staff of the respective departments.
- Once a Visual hit or Focal Display is set up or an area is re-merchandised, the department in charge MUST take detailed photographs of the sections for their reference.
- A Visual hit/Focal display can last 4-6 weeks depending on stock availability or the guidelines.
- Visual Merchandiser should not be utilized for SRN loading and unloading.
- Showroom requisition and stocking of shelves should ONLY be handled by the department staff with the supervision of their Team Leaders.
- Visual Merchandisers should not be engaged in the development and implementation of price tags from HCISS. But make sure to have the items with proper bar codes before displaying.
Furniture – Visual Merchandiser
- Visual Merchandisers should only be responsible for dressing room sets, the sofa bay and dining bay and any related furniture sections.
- Daily keep up and housekeeping of the room sets, the sofa bay and dining bay should be taken care by the department in charge and NOT the Visual Merchandisers. This includes:
- Replacing of the items that have been taken by the customers across all areas in the Furniture.
- Fixing and tidying up of beddings in room sets that has become messy due to trading.
- Straightening of the dining and coffee table settings that have become messy due to trading.
- Store Managers and floor in charge should plan and delegate the work that is expected from the Visual Merchandising Team.

1. Minimum should be a commerce graduate; Inter CA will be an added value.
2. Must have knowledge in accounting/ERP software and should have good computer knowledge and expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the accounts field, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in a medium or large organization with a telecom/contracting company background.
