• To be prepared to provide support for other teachers in ways that are indicative of a team approach (i.e. covering classes, sharing supervision of students, interdisciplinary planning, and curriculum development).
• To communicate respectfully in a timely manner with parents on the performance and progress of their children in accordance with the approved format.
• To attend meeting and professional development sessions as may be called by administration.
• To continuously undertake personal professional development through reading and attendance at workshops and courses.

The Australian College of Kuwait is looking to hire instructors in Mathematics and related fields for an immediate start. These positions within the Department of Mathematics offer the opportunity to join a dynamic environment delivering foundation, diploma, and undergraduate programs in engineering and business. Responsibilities:

1. Teaching at foundation, diploma, and undergraduate levels.
2. Contributing to curriculum development.

Requirements:

• A good first degree and postgraduate degree in mathematics or a related discipline.
• Recent industry or equivalent academic experience.
• The ability to teach and supervise foundation, diploma, and undergraduate students, ideally with some experience in problem-based learning.
• The ability to build collaborative internal and external relationships and experience of working successfully as part of a team.

The position offers the opportunity to pursue research aligned with the department's themes, especially in problem-based learning in mathematics. Candidates should have experience or potential to develop and sustain externally funded research and to publish in high-quality refereed journals.
