Overview

Our food division is made up of a portfolio of 29 different brands and consists of a diverse range of outlets. From quick service, casual dining provided by Pei Wei through to the high-end, quality dining experience of Veranda, there is a dining concept to suit all hospitality backgrounds. Well known brands include: Starbucks, P.F. Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory, Dean & Deluca, Pinkberry, and Pizza Express. This division has grown year on year with 115 units in 2012 and new brands for 2013 such as Katsuya and Café CoCo. Working with the operations team, you will manage the marketing services function to support brands and ensure that all above the line and below the line materials are delivered within budget and that the content and quality of all communications enhance the brand and grow the business in line with brand objectives. This will include campaigns for existing and new outlets, building and maintaining media relationships and ensuring effective communications with agencies in all markets. Responsibilities

A minimum of 5 years' marketing management experience. Experience of developing marketing plans, advertising and promotions. Good communication, management and organizational skills. Fluent in written and spoken English. Experience in retail food marketing is an advantage. A degree level qualification in marketing (preferred). About The Company

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for Canonical's range of security and compliance products, including messaging and positioning
  • Track the competitive landscape and emerging trends to define product differentiation and value drivers
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps, and customer use cases
  • Translate technical product capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging for key personas, including Executives, DevSecOps, and platform teams
  • Own campaign and content planning for the security portfolio
  • Use data and insights to iterate on demand generation strategies and optimize conversion throughout the funnel
  • Work with other teams to plan events, webinars and support messaging for paid and social media promotion

Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Marketing Manager – Kuwait & Qatar is a senior leadership role within KFC and the broader Americana Restaurants organization, responsible for leading the full marketing agenda across two of the brand’s most strategic and high-priority markets. With over 140 KFC restaurants and more than 50 years of brand presence, Kuwait and Qatar represent a critical part of KFC’s growth and legacy in the MENA region.

This role requires a strong, well-rounded marketer who can translate transaction-level insights and consumer behavior into powerful, full-funnel marketing plans. The ideal candidate will be skilled in balancing business performance with brand building—driving both short-term impact and long-term equity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end marketing strategy and execution across Kuwait & Qatar to deliver transaction growth, sales, and profit targets.
  • Turn insights into action through performance-led planning, focused on unlocking occasions, value perceptions, and digital growth.
  • Collaborate with the MENA regional team to shape product, innovation, and communications roadmaps that are consumer-first and market-relevant.

Performance & Growth Management

  • Own the marketing calendar and lead integrated campaign development across dine-in, delivery, and digital channels.
  • Analyze store-level and market-level trends to identify growth levers and performance gaps.
  • Continuously optimize initiatives to deliver ROI and improve customer acquisition, frequency, and retention.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work in close partnership with Operations, Revenue Management, Digital, Supply Chain, Legal, and agency partners to drive seamless execution.
  • Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.

Brand & Consumer Development

  • Deepen consumer understanding to build relevant, resonant, and distinctive brand communication.
  • Drive initiatives that elevate KFC’s equity and reinforce the brand’s leadership in the QSR space.
  • Champion innovation in storytelling, formats, and value delivery to stay ahead of evolving consumer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven marketing experience, preferably in QSR, food & beverage, or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen with a track record of driving both brand and business results.
  • Confident working cross-functionally and leading multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

We're looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager who combines deep technical understanding with strategic marketing expertise to develop go-to-market plans for our global security and compliance portfolio.

This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary, and dynamic position that requires working closely with product managers, engineering teams, and security experts to truly understand the technical capabilities of our offerings, and translate them into compelling positioning and content. You'll also collaborate with the content team, sales, and other marketing functions to drive awareness, adoption, and growth.

The ideal candidate is a technologist at heart, someone who thrives on understanding how products work under the hood and is excited to communicate their value clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You're motivated by ownership, driven by curiosity, and comfortable operating at the intersection of product and marketing. You love to get hands-on, solve problems, experiment, and build scalable marketing systems.

This role sits within the product marketing team and reports to the Product Marketing Lead

This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

What your day will look like

Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for Canonical's range of security and compliance products, including messaging and positioning Track the competitive landscape and emerging trends to define product differentiation and value drivers Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps, and customer use cases Translate technical product capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging for key personas, including Executives, DevSecOps, and platform teams Own campaign and content planning for the security portfolio Use data and insights to iterate on demand generation strategies and optimize conversion throughout the funnel Work with other teams to plan events, webinars and support messaging for paid and social media promotion

Experience with demand generation, understanding how to translate GTM strategies into pipeline growth. Comfort working cross-functionally with product, sales, partners, and marketing teams.
