- Project Lead position is required to drive and coordinate Chemical Manufacturing projects in Kuwait/_Saudi Arabia_. These business critical projects will require continuous execution and monitoring, which needs to have a dedicated individual on the ground._
**As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for**:
- Determining and defining project structure
- Equity Partnership / JV / Long Term Service Agreements.
- Determining and defining manufacturing and blending project scope and objectives.
- Predicting resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. This requires coordination between project consultants, DCF-technical and quality teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Developing and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Providing project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement - Tracking project costs in order to meet budget
- Preparing budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
**Fuel your passion**
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or master’s in chemistry.
- Have 8+ years relevant experience in a project management, research, and production of chemicals.
- Have experience in managing and setup of manufacturing plants
- Have supply chain experience managing suppliers, products and technology
- Have an excellent communication skills in English.
- Have an effective communication and understanding of overall O&G landscape.
- Have excellent skills with the ability to relate and communicate with all levels involved internally & externally.
- Be able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
- Have the ability to take prompt decisions in problem resolution when needed.
- Have excellent written, reporting and presentation skills

- Lead process streamlining and financial systems optimization across SAP (PPCO/PS modules) and Oracle ERP systems.
- Lead ERP transition and change management, including upskilling initiatives for teams migrating to Oracle.
- Support automation and reporting enhancements, including Narrative Reporting, ARCS, and PCMCS.
- Enhance use of SAP modules for improved visibility into performance and real-time financial insights.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements, controls, and reports.
- Establish SOPs and system control checklists to maintain data integrity, especially in new business units.
People Management Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the finance team size of 20–25, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive team growth through performance evaluations, skill gap analysis, and focused training programs.
- Coordinate with corporate office to manage KPIs, review deliverables, conduct performance discussions, and resolve grievances.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration across finance, operations, sales, and service to improve overall financial literacy and alignment.
Educational Qualification
- Education Degree: Master’s Degree in Business / Finance
- Qualified Finance Professional holding CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA
Experience
- Years of Experience: 12 - 20 Years
- Preferred Industry: Manufacturing & Services, Projects and Retail
Skills
