Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead and oversee all quality-related activities in our ready mix concrete operations. The QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete produced meets industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements through effective quality assurance processes, laboratory testing, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials, production, and delivery of ready mix concrete.
- Supervise quality control staff and laboratory technicians to ensure accurate and timely testing.
- Monitor raw material quality (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) and validate supplier quality reports.
- Conduct regular testing of concrete samples (slump, strength, temperature, etc.) and maintain detailed records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS, and local Kuwaiti regulations.
- Review and approve concrete mix designs and suggest modifications as per project requirements.
- Liaise with project engineers, consultants, and clients to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Provide training to plant and site staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Manage calibration and maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment.
- Prepare and submit quality reports and audit documentation to management and external bodies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the ready mix concrete or construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge of concrete technology, materials testing, and mix design principles.
- Familiarity with quality standards and test methods (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in lab equipment and software tools used for concrete testing and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

The Call Center Quality Assurance officer for service support is responsible for monitoring and documenting Agent call quality in support of the departmental quality goals and initiatives.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards**
- Evaluates both verbal and written customer contact by Agents. This team member participates in the design of all quality monitoring formats and quality standards.
- Documents the call quality results and provides feedback and trend data to the Supervisors and Manager as required.
- Verifies that agents are providing accurate solutions to customers.
- Records evaluations utilizing departmental quality monitoring forms.
- Provides Supervisors and the Manager with regular performance feedback on the agents.
- Assists with quarterly program by working on the delivery of the surveys and evaluating customer feedback received from the surveys.
- Prepares and analyses quality reports for Management review.
- Participates in the design of quality monitoring forms and quality standards.
- Primarily in-office support of clients and agents, with some travel as needed.
- Able to work extended hours when required.
- Able to sit or stand for frequent periods in the same location with minimum opportunity to move about.
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed at all time.
- Provides and promotes People Centered care concept by involving Patient and family in all activities affecting their care and choices as applicable.

**Qualifications, Competences and Skills**
**Education**:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related industry
**Experience**:Minimum of 2 years of experience performing Quality Assurance in a call center environment preferred.

**Computer Proficiency**:Good Knowledge in MS Office Application and other software

- Cross trains when required to ensure maximum flexibility and possession of technical skills in the development and maintenance of quality programs. Coordinates with Shop Supervisor when technical problems arise, and in-depth mechanical knowledge is required.
- Maintain proficiency on related training tasks.
- Conducts surveillances and performs other administrative duties as required within the Quality Control Office.
- Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
- Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the Amentum Quality Management System.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in generator equipment.
- A minimum of 2 years quality control/ inspection experience required.
- Must have knowledge of diagnostic tools and forms used at the unit and DS/GS level.
- Must be able to read and understand communications and electronic equipment schematics.
- Must have thorough knowledge of military technical publications.
- Must have a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- The ability to talk to people from all walks of life.
- Must be customer service focused.
- T1 NACI required for U.S. Citizens
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
