Job Description & SummaryPwC Middle East is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate/Manager to join our Tax team in Kuwait, specifically focusing on the Chinese Business Development Help Desk. This role involves supporting business development initiatives and uphold communication with the clients.
Job requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or tax.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
- Responsible for external communication, managing the clients’ relationship.
- Assisting the tax team during tax audit and formalities of drafting and submitting objections and appeal letters to the relevant authorities.
- Assist the tax team to prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and team working and writing skills.
- Demonstrable relationship building skills.
- Ability to operate with a mindset that transcends cultural boundaries.
- Be part of and contribute to the engaging working environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional (tax or accounting) qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA, ADIT, ACCA or equivalent) is not mandatory but preferred

Job Description
We are seeking a talented and driven Legal Associate to become part of our dynamic,
multicultural, and inclusive team in Kuwait Steel. This is an exciting opportunity for a
proactive legal professional to play a key role in supporting and enhancing the legal
operations.
As a Legal Associate, You will work closely with senior legal counsel, providing high-
level administrative and operational support that enables informed decision-making and
risk management across the business. This role goes beyond traditional support, it
offers the opportunity to gain exposure to complex legal matters, contribute to high-
impact projects, and grow within a respected legal team that values professionalism,
integrity, and strategic thinking.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Extensive experience in the end-to-end
management of complex commercial contracts, including structuring, drafting,
negotiating, and interpreting contractual provisions across various sectors (e.g.,
procurement, services…). Expertise in negotiating key legal clauses such as
indemnities, representations and warranties, liquidated damages, force majeure,
limitation of liability, confidentiality, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Skilled in
aligning contractual frameworks with corporate risk appetite, regulatory
requirements, and jurisdiction-specific legal standards.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution Management: Advanced capability in
handling contentious legal matters, including the assessment of legal exposure
and liability risks, preparation of legal strategy memos, evidence bundles, and
pleadings. Experience coordinating with external counsel in complex litigation,
including commercial, labor, and regulatory disputes. Well-versed in local and
international procedural rules. Strong grasp of pre-litigation settlement strategy,
case law analysis, and litigation cost-benefit evaluation.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of domestic legal
frameworks governing corporate operations, including but not limited to labor law,
and environmental regulations. Proven ability to design and implement internal
compliance controls, policies. Experience advising senior management on legal
risks and compliance gaps, conducting internal investigations, and responding to
regulatory inquiries or enforcement actions.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Law.
5+ years of proven experience in a corporate legal environment.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
