Overview
We are looking for a Process Engineer for one of our Client (Oil & Gas) to be based in Kuwait.
The candidate for this position will be responsible to provide operations support to operating site and ensure the design intent is implemented in operation phase. Develop RCA (Root cause analysis) studies and performance reports. Develop and identify improvement opportunity for Operations/HSE. Client interactions. Monitor Process/Equipment Performance and identify gaps Identify improvement opportunities. Develop and Implement MOC’s through internal procedures.
Responsibilities- Understand the process/technology to optimize service delivery throughout the facility operations, considering inputs from OEM, products specifications, and cost of solution.
- Implement the best operating practices with continuous learning cycle. Perform Root cause analysis for failure case and develop conceptual solution and liaise with engineering for implementation
- Review and understand client specifications during O&M phase. Resolve deviations not inline
- Review all process engineering deliverables conforming to project specifications and international standard
- Guide and assist junior process/operations engineer.
- Provide inputs to other disciplines during O&M phase.
- Review technical requisition and technical bid analysis for safety studies. Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and other safety studies.
- Participate in 3D model interdisciplinary reviews.
- Review and comment the outsourced process engineering design.
- Review Installation, Operation (Start-up and Shut-down) and Maintenance Instruction manuals, including lists for Consumables, Special Tools, Lubricants, and Utilities.
- Perform on-site start-up and / or troubleshooting.
- Provide support to processing facilities as required by Operations on engineering/technical matters.
- Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
- Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment
