Overview
The Key Accounts Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with Comstor's key partners in the assigned markets. Acting as the primary contact for these accounts, the role will focus on strengthening partner engagement, driving Cisco business growth, and ensuring operational excellence in account management. This role is highly strategic and requires a strong blend of business development acumen, partner relationship management, and collaboration with internal sales and operational teams to achieve country-level sales targets and long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for assigned key partners across Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain.
- Manage partner registrations, contracts, and renewals with Comstor and Cisco to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
- Strengthen long-term partner relationships to position Comstor as the distributor of choice for Cisco solutions.
- Work hand in hand with the sales teams to build and maintain a robust business funnel.
- Drive the achievement of country sales targets by aligning account strategies with Cisco's business objectives.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts and markets.
- Develop annual account plans and growth strategies for each partner; track milestones, KPIs, and progress against agreed objectives; monitor market dynamics and partner performance, proactively addressing risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, architecture, marketing, operations, technical, finance) to deliver best-in-class partner experience.
- Work closely with Cisco channel teams to align Comstor's activities with Cisco's GTM strategy.
- Support marketing campaigns, enablement sessions, and events to drive partner engagement.
- Ensure accurate partner records, forecasts, and reporting are maintained in line with company processes; monitor and improve operational workflows between Comstor and partners to optimize efficiency; provide timely feedback and market intelligence to internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or channel/partner management, ideally within IT distribution, vendor, or system integrator environments.
- Proven experience in managing key accounts in the GCC region (experience in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain markets is a strong advantage).
- Solid understanding of Cisco's solutions portfolio (networking, collaboration, security, cloud, and data center) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong partner relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
