The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the interior fit-out and construction sector. This role requires strong client relationship skills, market awareness, and the ability to prepare proposals/tenders that align with the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities·Research and identify potential clients, consultants, and developers in Kuwait and the GCC.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, landlords, franchise owners, and contractors.
·Track tenders, RFQs, and RFPs, ensuring timely submission of proposals.
·Prepare and present company profiles, prequalification documents, and capability statements.
·Collaborate with estimation and technical teams to prepare BOQs, cost proposals, and project presentations.
·Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and variations with clients.
·Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular reports to management.
·Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine the business strategy.
·Represent the company in networking events, exhibitions, and industry gatherings.
Requirements·Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
·3–5 years’ experience in business development, ideally in fit-out, contracting, or construction sector.
·Strong knowledge of tendering procedures, contracts, and local market dynamics.
·Excellent negotiation, presentation, and networking skills.
·Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
·Fluency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
