RED TIC is recruiting for one of its customers a CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER profile for the following assignments:

Mission
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity measures to safeguard our clients’ systems and networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect systems and networks.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor security incidents and respond to incidents promptly.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Implement security controls and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
• Provide guidance and support to IT and development teams on security best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging threats and industry trends to enhance cybersecurity posture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills in English and French.
