Job Description
Job Summary
AV and Automation System - Supervises the installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for AV and Automation system project installation, programming, and commissioning.
- Provide Level 1 (L1) support for AV and Automation systems.
- Coordinate with Alghanim Support team to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with customer IT team regarding support-related issues.
- Assess capacity and availability of solutions as required.
- Implement change requests in coordination with Alghanim support team.
Skills and Candidate Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings and specifications.
- Design and develop custom graphical user interfaces (GUI) on control system touch panels.
- Create new program modules and interfaces.
- Develop system integration programs for Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, and Biamp systems.
- Familiarity with DSP design and configuration, such as Bosch, Biamp, and QSC.
- Maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service.
- Coordinate creation and integration of AV control system programs.
- Install control programs and touch panel projects onsite and offsite.
- Troubleshoot and debug AV systems remotely, preferably using CLI commands.
- Complete training programs from manufacturers, industry associations, and the company as required.
- Organize, maintain, and archive all job-related code, graphic touch panel layouts, and programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Excellent communication and written skills are essential for interacting with clients regarding GUI design, system functionality, troubleshooting, etc.
