Job Summary: The QHSE Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across the organization. This role focuses on promoting a culture of safety and compliance, improving operational efficiency, and reducing workplace risks. The QHSE Manager will lead safety initiatives, audits, and training programs to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards, ensuring adherence to legal and internal regulations. Conduct routine internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations, CTIPs plans and projects Statement of work. Provide training and support for employees on QHSE practices and procedures. Prepare training material and presentations on health and safety matters and accident prevention. Perform operational risk assessments and design risk mitigation measures. Establish QHSE audit plans and coordinate audit schedules by working closely with Internal Auditors. Provide QHSE improvement plan of QHSE non-conformance, propose corrective action(s), required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes, identify trends, and implement corrective measures. Ensure total compliance with FSMS (Food Safety Management System), confirming that safe food is consistently delivered to employees. Prepare weekly and monthly QHSE reports, statistics and analysis related to the integrated QHSE management system. Advise management on any changes that affect the QHSE management system, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance. Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions, where applicable. Ensure the implementation of QHSE Management System and ongoing compliance to the standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as industrial safety, occupational health, environmental science, or engineering. Minimum five to six years of experience in a QHSE position. Recognized certifications in safety management, risk assessment, or occupational health. Strong command of English in both verbal and written communication. Experience managing audits and compliance with international QHSE standards. Skills Strong knowledge of QHSE principles and international regulatory requirements. Proven ability to implement and manage quality and safety systems. Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs. Competence in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. Analytical thinking and familiarity with QHSE metrics and statistics. **Primary Objective**
- Implement the project HSE MS.
- Maintain Statistical data for the Project.
- Prepare reports as required for the Worley HSEQ Manager.
- Provide advice and assistance to EPC HSE managers so they comply in a consistent way to reduce the risk to the project employees and the environment.
- Provide advice and guidance to the EPC contractor management team on HSE issues through the interpretation of client policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure EPC contractors establish and maintain statistical data concerning all matters of health and safety, training programs with which to provide a basis for development of further health and safety activities, to highlight trends for future action.
- Review EPC contractor Safety Management System and advise of required changes
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the client, regulatory bodies and EPC contractor to foster the professional image of Worley.
- Visit the project site on a regular basis to ensure interest and awareness of HSE is maintained, conduct regular safety talks and safety training sessions relative to the nature of activities being undertaken

Other key activities shall include but not be limited to the following:

- Pro-actively visit site and with the EPC contractor implement safety measures-promote/ensure safe work practices
- Ensure quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings
- Assist EPC contractor construction management personnel in identifying hazards and in planning and organizing the work such that a safe working environment is maintained.

- Advise subcontractor supervisory staff and employees in the implementation of strategies to identify and control potential hazards and in the use of the hierarchy of controls
- Ensure all lines of communication on HSE-matters remain open and effective between all parties particularly the client, Worley EPC contractors and their sub-contractors.

Purpose of the Function:

To establish and uphold a safe, secure, and compliant environment across all retail furniture operations-from showrooms to warehouses-ensuring the health and safety of employees and customers, minimizing risk, and maintaining full regulatory compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, and local safety standards.

Purpose of the Job:

The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and physical security policies and procedures within the retail furniture sector. This includes overseeing safety in showrooms, distribution centers, and delivery logistics, managing security systems, training staff, and coordinating supply chain security to protect high-value and bulky inventory items.

Key Assignments:

• Develop and enforce safety and security protocols tailored to furniture retail operations, including showroom safety, warehouse ergonomics, and delivery hazards.
• Conduct comprehensive safety risk assessments for all locations including showrooms, warehouses, and distribution hubs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, and local occupational safety standards.
• Supervise implementation of proper manual handling techniques for large, heavy, and often awkward furniture items to prevent injuries.
• Train store and warehouse personnel on safe equipment usage (e.g., forklifts, trolleys) and emergency procedures.
• Lead incident investigations involving injuries, product damage, or security breaches; document findings and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems such as CCTV, alarm systems, and access controls in stores and warehouses.

• Implement and oversee cargo protection procedures for oversized, high-value inventory during transit.
• Coordinate with procurement, customs, and warehouse teams to minimize theft, damage, or delays.
• Monitor supply chain vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to reduce risk.
• Maintain records and traceability for inventory movement, particularly for high-ticket items.

Competence:

• Advanced knowledge of OSHA and NEBOSH principles, especially applied to physical retail and warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with furniture retail-specific risks such as heavy lifting, customer foot traffic, and product stability/display safety.
• Proficiency in conducting safety training and incident investigations.
